Meanwhile in California... 🌎 Sunset on the Central Coast. 🌊🌅🐋 The sprinkling of orange on the trees is a type of algae called Trentepohlia. Swipe➡️ Contrary to popular misconception, it is not a fungus, but a very friendly algae. Trentepohlia does not hurt the trees, only makes them pretty. Carotenoid (just like in carrots and sweet potatoes) pigment masks the green color of this algae. It lives on trees on the Cypress Grove trail of Point Lobos State Natural Reserve, which hosts one of the two remaining original grows of Monterey Cypress. PLSNR is not exactly a park, but more of a living museum, dedicated to research and education. While it is open to the public, activities like hiking are strictly regulated to preserve the flora and fauna of great significance. #poliroad#pointlobos#californiacoast
I've created my first ever product for you guys, yay!
It's a wall calendar called: ⛰️ MOUNTAINS OF THE WORLD 🌎 (swipe for the video)
After traveling around the world spending most of our time in the mountains, I've decided to create a calendar from the most beautiful parts of the world so others can enjoy breathtaking mountainous landscapes, plan their own adventures and decorate their home.
You guys showed us so much support over the years that I would like to thank you for it and show appreciation 🙏
❓Question for you: WOULD YOU LIKE TO HAVE THIS CALENDAR? 🗓️⛰️🌎
I'm thinking about doing a giveaway.

Sometimes, healing is hiding from the world, it is having everything inside of you be still and quiet and eerily bare. Sometimes, healing is laughing until you cry. It is kissing your friends’ faces and being moved and inspired by your life. Sometimes, healing consists of sitting in coffee shops and writing the years from your mind.
And sometimes healing feels like nothing at all, like you are a silhouette of hope and hurt at the same time. Do not fight it. Whatever your healing looks like today, whatever it consists of-- just allow it to be what it is.
Just take care of yourself.
Transformation comes from within.
We can rely on endless external factors to feed our soul, but until we look within and come face to face with our inner most being and get curious about what it needs, we will always be searching.
You have everything you need. You always have. You just have to remember that the path always leads back to you.
I love you.
I laid with Ariel across her bed with my nose nestled into her fur. You came home after a long day at work and an even longer night of building our house. But you saw me laying there and you gathered the cats and laid down right beside us. The five of us, our little family, all together... and you asked me about my day and how it was.
On our wedding day you promised me a forever and you told me it would be a forever with our animals too- for you know as well as I do that they are our family.
I’m not sure how I got so lucky, but I am so proud to call you my husband.
Happy Birthday Matt, I love you more. 💛

For some reason when I look back at this picture, I keep picturing Beyoncé’s music video of “All the Single Ladies” when they do a little step move (Oh, oh oh...oh, oh, oh). So I’ll just be over here singing that song with a 45lb backpack & rocking hiking boots 👋🏻 happy Friday!
The perfect capture of who we are as people. 🤣
This was the first of 5 peaks and we made the most of this summit as we had a loonnnggg road ahead.
Always grateful for this hiking community and the people I’ve been able to meet along the way.
Went back and did it right. No feeling of being watched this time, but floods of anxiety about .2 from this sad little summit canister. I still don't own snow shoes, but it's on the list. I became acutely aware that I was wet from stream crossings, and therefore FCUKING freezing - going numb. I honestly contemplated calling it quits for a second time. Frostbite wasn't worth this dinky summit on some list, but hell would freeze over before I ever came back out here again. So we made it, snapped a photo, then practically sprinted down the mountain to the car.
Shoutout to this little vase I made in Port Angeles, Washington. I think it’s amazingly beautiful and I’ve had it (to sell) for about 3 years. Maybe it’s no one else’s taste. And that’s alright. It’s the stressful and great thing about pottery. There’s always more to do, to try.

Where is your next adventure taking you?
We had a rough go today with chest deep pow, slow boards and minimal visibility. Needless to say we spent a lot of our time digging ourselves out of tree runs & swearing/laughing our asses off! 'Twas still an epic day on the slopes 💛🧡❤
