Meet our massage therapist: Kyleigh McVey, LMT — 🌱 Kyleigh has an innate ability to identify stagnant pain, emotion, and energy held within the body via colors emitted in accordance to our chakra system. This gift allows an intuitive approach to healing through the power of touch and breath-work, creating a very unique experience for each client. When Kyleigh was 18 she was in a car accident that changed her life, sending her onto the path of healing that has since blossomed in to her passion for alternative medicine and spiritual wellbeing. Her favorite place to be when she’s not massaging is outdoors with her family and a good read.
My favorite part about the long ride home is looking back on all of the photos, talking about the memories made, & planning our next travel! 🛣🚗 This two week road trip has been transformative, revealing, and deeply healing. Here’s what I learned along the way:
1️⃣You will survive a break from your routine. This was tough for me, at first. But then I just accepted it for what it was and allowed myself to do those things when I could. Sometimes journaling happened in the car. Sometimes meditation was listening to @joelosteen and staring out the window.
2️⃣If you rent a car, get that Sirius XM option. (Siriusly.) 90s station, comedy, & Joel pulled us through the long stretches.
3️⃣Make it a point to see a sunrise at least once. Seeing the sunrise over Flathead Lake in Lakeside, Montana tops the charts of our faves.
4️⃣You grow through what you go through. We are always healing. I don’t care how seasoned you are in your journey, there’s always some way we can release a little bit more. I had some tough moments to work through on this trip. And like I always do, I made I through. And am undoubtedly stronger for it.
5️⃣Signs are guiding you every step of the way. If you saw my post the other day with the feather, you know what I mean. Be open.
6️⃣Sow seeds of kindness to everyone you meet. Even when you don’t feel like it. You never know what someone else is going through; have genuine compassion and curiosity for their story. You met for a reason. Listen.
7️⃣Be gentle with yourself. Yeah, I don’t love how I feel about most of my food choices and lack of preferred body movement, but I know it’s not the end of the world. I’ll get back on track with what feels best for me in no time!
8️⃣Water & sleep is often the cure-all. Changing time zones almost every other day can be hard on the soul. What a difference it made when I prioritized them both.
9️⃣Everything is right on time. Every experience, income, a last minute place to sleep - Everything. Right when you need it. Release doubt around this.
