Just be in the room 🔑
We live in era of “The Flex” & “Doing It For The Gram”. People act like they are living a certain way when in actuality they aren’t. WE flex for likes and follows. Some people even buy followers to make themselves appear more popular than what they are. We buy things only for pictures purposes and return them the next day. I’m guilty as well! In fact a few weeks ago I bought a “Rolex”, simply for the flex 💪🏾. Earlier this year I found myself in a state of discontentment and a lot of it came from me scrolling on IG and seeing people who are in my age bracket living better lives than me. One person in particular, I become envious of her life. My sister had to bring me back to reality and was like do you realize that Instagram is “scheduled content”! Cardi B said it best people aren’t going to put their real issues and struggles on social media! We grow discontent, jealous and envious and try to compete with scheduled content - a whole highlight reel of the lives of others. If you haven’t seen the movie “ Keeping up with the Jones’s” - I would check it out! It’s came out so long ago BUT it’s extremely timely for today’s culture. Jill Scott said “Just Be In The Room” and that’s the major Key! 🔑

The best way we can help our own suffering is to help someone else in their suffering.
Feeling fat and rubbish about yourself - go feed in a homeless soup kitchen.
Bored in your marriage or fed up of being single - volunteer in a domestic abuse women’s refuge.
And to a lesser extent:
Anxious about what people think about you - find someone and ask them how they’re doing, and then keeping doing that.
Feeling lonely & depressed - find a group that supports the most lonely people in society and make a difference to someone else’s life.
These points aren’t a ‘cure all’ but they will go quite far in making a difference to our suffering.
Jesus was quite clear that we are to love our neighbour. If we refuse to see past our own pain we have refused to love our neighbour and see their pain. We have then become people who will only give when we receive, but Jesus flipped that on it’s head and said it would be a blessing to us when we give than receive.
Therefore, we are not called to keep receiving by getting, yet we do receive when we give!
The kingdom of God is an upside down world; to gain something good we must give out.
In a western culture that is obsessed about “me” and my needs and my problems and my issues, a culture which is also very far down the list of “happy nations”, let’s maybe try something new and think about the “other” and see how that works out instead.
To be sacrificial of ourselves is not weakness, it is strength. To give ourselves away is not weakness, it takes courage. The blessing comes in the giving: Jesus gave himself completely away and is the most joyous person ever to be, maybe we should try that more often.
Conclusion: self-care in the kingdom of God is to give yourself away. #kingdomliving#kingdomculture#selfcare#thinkaboutothers#giveaway#give

The Lord has put on my heart the need for "maturity and growth" in the body of Christ. Many of us feel like we know it all, If God has something to say, He will say to me personally. Consumed with pride, we disregard what the Lord is speaking through others for us. We argue and disagree in order to prove ourselves when in fact, we are only being divided, the very opposite of What the Lord desires. .
• In these verses and many more, we see how others can be used by God to guide and counsel us. we see the necessity of wise Counsel which can come from those that the Lord has put around you. These verses, in fact, proves that our walk is not a solo one, neither can one journey by themselves effectively. To Truely grow up, God is asking us to put childish things aside - which streams from (Me, myself, I)., move from milk to solid food.. not just being a hearer of His word (and acquire information) but being a doer also (intentionally) that His word which is living can work in our lives, transforming us into the very image and likeness of God.. (in thought, words, and deeds) .
•Our Lord has called us to be Set apart, work together in Unity (its why We are called the Body of Christ). He doesn't want us to be ashamed or hide our weaknesses, because in it His strength is made perfect. Our identity is in Him, we find it in the mirror of His word; we don't need to prove ourselves.. Take off the shoes of this world, We dont need them in His presence or where we are heading, We do need each other. brothers and sisters we need each other to fulfill God's plan as He leads us with His Spirit. - God is doing a New thing, and in this He want us to grow.

When God want to bless you he places you in the hands of great men.
This couple,My pastors, have really been used by God to speak edifying words into my life....May God bless them for me.

To a small child, in a game of hide and seek, they count to 10 and come find you. You can hide in the same place over and over again and they will seek you there each time and still be excited even though you never moved.
To an older child who is a bit more mature, they love challenges. They can count longer and you can hide in more complex places because they’d get bored if they found you in the same hiding spot each time.
The Lord’s kingdom is hidden for us, not from us. There’s times in my journey where His hiding place was easy for me to find. But other times He hid Himself so much deeper for me to seek out. Because He’s not boring. There’s soooo much more to be unveiled.
Don’t be afraid to stop counting down and start seeking Him deeper. He has really worthy hiding spots.
Don't let the overtime of working keep you from spending "needed"time with God. .
That's why word says "seek (first) the kingdom of God and His righteousness and the rest will be added to unto you.
He will provide! Don't compromise! #TrustGod#Workhard#Godfirst#TBT#KingdomLifestyle#KingdomCulture
Unity is best celebrated in diversity. -Bill Johnson
We are all different. We all respond to pain and hurt different. We all celebrate victories different. We are all unique! That's why we are "the body" of Christ. Different parts, yet all work together and depend on each other. So be you! Fully YOU! BE who God created you to be!!! BE authentic!!! #kingdomculture#unityindiversity#nomorefear
“Chris, we should definitely do mornings more often,” I said while shuffling up the stairwell of stone that’s been carved into the hillside.⠀
I was up before dawn with my love today to capture some footage for a Christmas video I’m creating. It’s for my godfather’s sermon series at his church back in California, and I can’t tell you how good it feels to be making videos again.
Today, we wanted some shots of the sunrise, and even though I didn’t technically get all of the footage that I had in my head, I definitely caught a couple clips (and these images) that had me almost drooling over the buttery glow of the light amidst the mist.⠀
Guys, even the smell of mornings promises something fresh and new and beautiful.⠀
Often times, I have felt like I can never capture my “dream aesthetic” because I’m just not a good enough editor or photographer. ⠀
But spoiler alert: neither of those things are true. What IS true is that the light and richness and invigorating life I crave lies outside of my comfort zone: not under a blanket with a cuppa, but out in the cold, fresh autumnal air of the dawn.⠀
My “aesthetic” can only be captured with a lifestyle that pushes me that little bit further to be the daughter of a King and a lover of the Light.

REVELATION: “Don’t be pulled in different directions or worried about a thing. Be saturated in prayer throughout each day, offering your faith-filled requests before God with overflowing gratitude. Tell Him every detail of your life, then God’s wonderful peace that transcends human understanding, will make the answers known to you through Jesus Christ. So keep your thoughts continually fixed on all that is authentic and real, honorable and admirable, beautiful and respectful, pure and holy, merciful and kind. And fasten your thoughts on every glorious work of God, praising Him always.” - Philippians 4:6-8
MEDITATION: ✨Our thoughts will follow what we feed our minds. What have you been feasting and feeding your mind lately? ✨
What we allow our mind to consistently feed on, is what we will empower our heart to believe. In our 24/7 information age, we have access to all kinds of (drama lol!), stuff coming at us. Guard your heart in what you allow yourself to read, see and hear. If it’s negativity, slander and gossip, you make the choice to either allow or deny it airspace in your mind!
When we choose to be consumed with the Presence of Jesus and feast on the living truths in His word (and it can be as simple as meditating on just one scripture verse) what we read and meditate on, has the power to literally transform, calm and guide our hearts...not just in that moment but we also get to invest into and build a strong foundation for our lives that has an impact on how we love and the choices we make.
• How do you stay mindful and meditate on what prospers your soul?
• Be intentional about what thoughts you allow your mind to entertain. Choose thoughts lined up with the promises in God’s Word.
• Every day is “Thanksgiving” day...take a few minutes today to journal your thoughts of gratitude.
Assimilation by definition is the absorption and integration of people, ideas or culture into a wider society or culture. In other words, it’s simply “the process of becoming like something.” I believe when we choose to abide in God we begin to assimilate the culture that exists in His Kingdom. His ways become our ways. We, along with the earth, are in the process of becoming similar, or as it is, in heaven. In the seasons ahead be expecting a new sense of revelation as God is causing His people to see and know in an increased measure. God is changing us and the world as we know it.
One of our scriptural basis for our theme this year is Eph 3:10

Hey, hurting friends...our failures are not our identity. The failures of others are not our identity.
We are who He says we are: Loved. Chosen. Redeemed. Even when we’re broken. * *
Let love be genuine.
Abhor what is evil;
hold fast to what is good.
Love one another with brotherly affection.
Outdo one another in showing honor.
Do not be slothful in zeal,
Be fervent in spirit,
Serve the Lord.
Rejoice in hope,
Be patient in tribulation,
Be constant in prayer. - Romans 12:9-12
Days of Gratitude: Day 7 ✨🌱🐯
Our eldest, Audrey E. Sparrow, has been involved with our churches (kids)Leadership Academy since the end of summer. I’ve had the pleasure to get to interact with a few of her mentors. I’m grateful to people like Amber, Bettijo, and Susie who put in time and heart and Holy Spirit obedience, and experience into my child. Thankful for the seeds that will bear much fruit.
Last shot of the finishing results; Audrey and her mentor, Amber, worked on each others face paint. Practicing that and balloon art for later this month. xo
Today is a shout out to Dave Easton who has imparted wisdom, revelation and joy in both our full-time course AND individual courses this year. Your heart after God and desire to see people reached with His love inspires us all!
2 more days until I reveal the BIG SECRET and I’m dying.
Also… if we haven’t met yet, hey, I’m @kristinmolenaar the Founder of RE and secret keeper of something super big happening in the next few days. You’ll want to stay tuned (and turn on post notifications) because this secret is all about equipping you in your entrepreneurial calling!
If you’re new here, say hey below and tell me what kind of biz you run, so I can meet ya and cheer ya on.
I genuinely believe that Holy Spirit is the best:
- Accountability Partner
Especially if you let Him be. If you lean in. If you take the time to learn what His prompting feels like, & you surrender yourself in response.
He’s better than I’ll ever be.
So if you don’t need me, why do I still show up here? Why document my workout when I could easily keep it private? Why show you I’m enjoying & grateful for the products my company is providing? Why even bother to post on Social Media at all when life feels so much simpler without it?
1. This is becoming my business and my income. This is becoming a way for me to stay home with our baby(ies) while pursuing the responsible stewardship of the gift of my body, and providing an income that will help support whatever Kingdom shenanigans we feel lead into for the rest of our lives— because we will always be growing in Jesus & doing something by His goodness & for His glory in the world, no matter where we live.
2. Sometimes we need help from our brothers and sisters to remind us to go to Him.
I hope, if you stick around here for a while, that THAT is one of the main messages you’ll hear threaded through everything I say & do:
Go to HIM. HE has what you truly need.
REVELATION: “Timothy, my dear son, live your life empowered by God’s free-flowing grace, which is your true strength, found in the anointing of Jesus and your union with Him!
- 2 Timothy 2:2
MEDITATION: “The vilest offender who truly believes...that moment, from Jesus a pardon receives.” (Swipe ⬅️ to hear these powerful lyrics..)
The two words “vilest offender” define who I once was, without the outrageous GRACE of God’s heart! Maybe those words resonate with you as well, for none of us can live holy, blameless, fruitful lives without the Cross and experiencing the scandalous and powerful grace that Jesus offers.
Fanny Crosby (a relative to Bing Crosby) wrote the above lyrics of the song, “To God Be The Glory”. She was a prolific lyricist, composer (over 8,000 songs) and poet as well as a passionate missions worker among the immigrants and poor in New York City. She was blind shortly after birth, was fatherless at six months old, had a broken marriage, experienced depression yet she was the first woman to speak at the US Senate, was praised by Presidents, and soon became a household name! Despite her many obstacles she became a brilliant display of God’s grace and her influence and legacy still lives on in the church today.
That is a little snippet of one woman and her extraordinary life marked by God’s limitless and unfathomable grace! His grace is astonishing, outrageous and undeserving.
Imagine what His grace can and will accomplish in your life and mine! It’s not about what we do for Him as much as what He does in and through our surrender and our unique stories - the pain, failures, loss, obstacles...
When we surrender and choose to believe in Jesus, He becomes our life and He gives us a new heart! (Ezekiel 36:26) It’s not our perfection He seeks - but our total surrender.
You are not alone. He IS grace and He is with you, every step of your destiny. Today choose to be aware of His heart for you...it’s a great day to experience His amazing grace, right in this moment.
- Define the word “grace.”
- How have you seen God’s grace upon your life?
What are you doing with your dreams? Today I stepped out of my comfort zone and did 2 new things.
1️⃣ I joined a zoom call with my instagram masterclass teachers @themayesteam .
2️⃣ I wrote a blog for my friend’s site which detailed one of my dreams to see adoption made common and accessible in Australia.
Both of these things I could have easily made excuses for. I had a crawling baby trying to eat anything and everything during my zoom call. And also, I’m flying interstate tomorrow, do I really have time to add these extra things into my day?
The truth is I love to travel and I love to share about our family’s experience and inspire others. One of the ways I can do that better is to learn more about this crazy thing we call Instagram. Likewise I’m passionate about advocating for children in forever homes and my friend @pillarclothingco has been encouraging me and empowering to get my butt moving towards this goal.
I could have used nap time today to wash my hair (which I still need to do before tomorrow), or napping, or drinking a tea. But I chose to move out of my comfort zone and towards my dreams and goals. So tell me, what have you been doing towards your dreams lately?
