The word protein comes from the Greek 'proteios' which means "first" or "in the lead". After water, protein is the most plentiful substance in the body. Our muscles and organs are made mostly of protein. After digestion, protein is broken down into amino acids. The amino acids are used by the body to maintain muscle, bones, your blood and ograns. Out of the 20 amino acids, 9 of them cannot be produced by our body. You have to consume them through your diet. These amino acids are called "essential amino acids". Protein takes longer to break down than carbohydrates so having a little protein at every meal can leave you feeling satiated longer. So get out there and have you some protein! Does a body good 🥦🍳

A abóbora é um legume típico do inverno que ajudar a perder peso, por ter poucas calorias e ser rica em fibras, aumentando a saciedade. 1/2 kg de abóbora sem casca⠀
2 colheres de sopa de gengibre ralado⠀
1 cebola pequena⠀
1 dente grande alho⠀
Sal a gosto⠀
Azeite de oliva a gosto⠀
Modo de Preparo⠀
Cozinhe a abóbora, a cebola, o alho e o gengibre em 1 litro de água.⠀
Bata no liquidificador e passe numa peneira grossa para tirar os fiapos do gengibre. Volte para a panela com azeite de oliva e sal a gosto e mexa por 5 minutos em fogo baixo.⠀
