It's ok if things are crazy and all over then place at the moment. I know it's tough but things will eventually get better.
In the meantime, look for the positives 🤗. Your current situation is not your permanent destination 🎇. Happy Friday!
Friday #sunset . How beautiful is this? I was lucky enough to drive past Emmarentia Dam this afternoon at just the right time and couldn’t resist pulling over to take this photo! #nofilterneeded#jozi#ig_captures
FBF to some of the craziest times in my life, spent with the guys from Jet black Camaro and @bcuc
Turbine Art Fair
What an honour it has been working with the genius team @ponguibou to create a wonder to adults and children alike.
Using an incredible hand woven sculpture of a tree of crystals (@elephant.teeth & Jon Wreal), detailed and beautiful imagery (@jeanlucgosse & @wyrdcollective) and an interactive and colourful app (Paul Sika & myself) we could invite people into the City of Nous.
Also interesting to see the freshest pick of South African art - my favourite being @chris_soal_.pdf.jpg.mp4.art deceptively fluffy looking toothpick and cement.
In a dark street in Maboneng, hidden from the unsuspecting eye and guarded by very large men in suits is our new favourite restaurant: The Marabi Club. Headed by the best young chef in both Africa and the Middle East and the seventh best young chef in the world (also, the nicest guy on earth - see photo), Marabi Club is by far one of the coolest places we have ever been to. It is the perfect combination of innovative and sophisticated fine dining and a vibey underground jazz club, all neatly tied up with vintage decor, an excellent wine list and waiting staff in bow ties because everyone loves bow ties. The food is served as tapas and can get quite pricey but every bite of grape and calamari (yes, we said grape) is worth it. In our certified amateur opinion, this is a place, and chef, to watch.🍩
