Recent card from the wonderful (and self-described quirky) Simon Drew of @simondrewgallery. My kind of humour with the added virtue of being a cryptic crossword fan. If I ever get to Dartmouth his gallery will be my first port of call. #joyofgardening#simondrewgallery . Reproduced with his kind permission
I’m a late bloomer. Always have been. So it’s no surprise that the joy of playing in the garden has only just taken root. But what roots! I’m so proud of my hydrangeas, it’s almost embarrassing! They bring me such joy! Like little children. A sign of the summer season and a season in life. Happy Friday eve from our garden to yours! .

This plant is one closest to my heart, for past 6 years it has blessed me with 35 to 40 flowers during its flowering season, last year with major renovation work , dumb workers pouring cement in the pot and after getting it repotted twice I thought it won't be flowering, bit to my surprise and happiness it blessed me with one beautiful flower yesterday night.
