I think this was the most eventful trip to Jasper yet! Harlow lost her voice from a cold/screaming with excitement all day. We also lost Harlow’s soother day one. That made for a fun night! Then our little fish tried to go for a swim in Pyramid Lake. So if you want our very short list of stores in Jasper that carry children’s shoes, hit me up. Our hike to “The Edge of the World” was definitely the highlight! It’s hard to tell how high up we were, but and it instantly takes your breath away😍

Scrolling through my feed and I realized it looks like I only travel to places where it's cold, so here's me enjoying a gorgeous summer day in Banff National Park. I'd highly recommend an early August trip, as the weather is nearly as beautiful as the scenery

I know it's a cliche to say that this time of year always goes by so quickly, but that doesn't make it not true! ⠀
This summer was a strange one for me: lots of really amazing business growth and change, some incredible trips and family time, and yet... I felt so overwhelmed that time seemed to both drag on endlessly and just melt away before I had even had a chance to do the thing or be in the place or just relax for a second. Do you know what I mean? ⠀
So, as we speed up into late October, tell me what you do to keep it all together during the holidays! I'm desperate to avoid the chaos and anxiety of this past summer, so tell me your tricks for not getting overwhelmed! How do you balance work and family and just trying to enjoy the season?⠀
Seasonal Caribou Closures have been happening throughout JNP for a few years now, and will be starting again on November 1.
Why is this important?
Caribou have special hooves that help them travel through deep snow at higher elevations, which keeps them safe from predators such as wolves that are unable to hunt them in that deep snow. We as humans have been altering the snow pack for years, when we ski or snowshoe, we pack down the snow, creating an easy trail for wolves to travel and hunt on. This has caused many problems for our surviving caribou herds in recent years.
