I finally got to use the Nuwave air fryer that @britt.gourlay and I received from our wedding! I absolutely love it already... 2 pounds of FROZEN wings were fully cooked in 30 minutes!!

Hullo, it’s 33°C at present and I am melting.
So first things first, I had an upset last night and I had a binge. LITERALLY TWO DAYS AFTER SAYING I WOULDNT. Honestly all of my meds were out of reach as were blades and even my book. Food was the only comfort I wanted. I still maintain that 1 whopper (value meal, with onion rings & a sundae) is less harmful to my bod than 12 Krispy Kremes or self harm. So yeah.
Despite that, I ended up still losing a tiiiny bit of weight, and although my motivation was at like zero I still went to yoga. Gold star. Bikram itself was v hard today! I couldn’t hold poses for as long as I could before, but I do think im getting deeper stretches. It’s definitely aiding my back. I sweat a bucketload today, even after I had stopped and left the room. It was disgustingly amazing. My face was Niagara Falls. Sweating that much is great, but halfway through the class everyone could see through my shirt. Fucking whites. Will only wear black from here on. Unless I get cuter bras.
It’s Friday and although I enjoy the weekends, I also have been conditioned to fear them. Every weekend I spiral back down because I can’t handle the upsets that occur. My tolerance goes right out the window and I can’t handle people even being dumb, it always feels like a personal slight. I end up wanting to cut or die, and that’s not even an exaggeration. If I can get through this weekend without a larger scale episode, I deserve a pony.

🦄I'm a loner. Introvert. I like it. It's gotten me to where I am today. I've been asked a couple of times, "if you could go back and change something, what would you change?" the answer is nothing. I'm too afraid whatever I change ends up affecting what I have now. I like now. Even though my goals are still mighty far away, I like now.
🦄"Wait a minute, loner? What are you talking about? You have family & friends yo!" Yeah, yeah I know. I don't mean it in that sense. I meant loner in my weight loss journey, in this pursuit for health. I've found it extremely difficult to find someone who gets it. Many sympathize, but very little get it. Especially if they never had to go through it.

🦄It doesn't really bother me much at all really, cos I kinda accepted I'm in this alone. Kinda like why I'm writing here right now, cos I know there's many more that get it reading this compared to the people that I know in real life. Not complaining, it is what it is. I didn't expect otherwise.
🦄But then I reconnected with a few who were also on this path. Ended up being the only people I talked to outside of family for th epast few months. Met more friends that had similar goals. And suddenly I'm no longer alone. It's a weird feeling. It's nice.
🦄Less fearful, less anxious, and feels amazing to celebrate someone else's win. I always believed with my head down I could reach wherever I wanted to reach. With this new surrounding, I know I'll reach where I wanna go. I just know.
🦄Surrounding yourself with like minded people? Super, super underrated.
