Majjije huli is a traditional yogurt curry that is typically prepared with winter melon, cucumbers, spinach, or ash gourd. It is a very popular dish in South India. It’s alkaline nature neutralizes acid in the stomach. Other ingredients include green chili’s, cumin/jeera (roasted), turmeric, mustard seeds, curry leaves, coconut. Here I have served it with turmeric infused rice for a hint of anti-inflammatory properties and a burst of seasonal color and flavor.

Date night at Tandoor: Vegetable samosas, vegetable pakora, egg Biriyani, vegetable curry, pepper lamb and for dessert mango lassi, coffee, Galjar Ka Halwa (carrot pudding) and galub jamun (deep fried sugar balls? Not sure how to capture this one in English but just, get it. You will not be sorry!). We seem to forget about Tandoor for Indian but the food really is excellent and the service is fabulous. Definitely recommend!
