No cooking today. Daddy daycare is in full swing as I've had to have a steroid injection in my wrist due to injury from lifting and carrying our 91st percentile bundle of joy.
I had one about 8 weeks ago on the inside of my wrist (De Quervains tenosynovitis, or 'mummy thumb'), and a couple of years ago I had the same problem in the opposite wrist, so I've learnt the hard way that it is definitely better to have a day or two with my arm in a sling, properly resting, than pushing myself and not recovering properly.
This time it's ligament damage, which can apparently be triggered by a one off injury rather than repetitive strain, so I'm hoping I've just hurt it picking her out of the car seat or something, and it's not going to become an ongoing issue.
Last time I found it so, so hard not to pick up, cuddle, feed and change my girl, so I'll probably put myself to bed as an emotional wreck by about 7.30pm 😂
Anyway. Here is a picture of my glorious food processor and some hummus I whizzed up yesterday. I totally underestimated how much the recipe would make and so have an abundance of tahini left over and have no idea what to do with it - any ideas? Can I use it like peanut butter or is that weird..?
