Tonight is a New Moon, also being graced with a lunar eclipse. Whether you feel this phases, are a bit skeptical or are giving me a little eye roll (🙄😉) this is an amazing time to shed the old and bring in new intentions. What we manifest today will travel with us for the next 6 months (not the usual 4 week cycle). So take some time to work out what is no longer serving you and allow your self to let go of hat today. And why not give yourself just 5 minutes to set your intentions, hopes and aims for the next 6 months... write them down and let them manifest in you. And for all my beautiful 🙄 and skeptics - just for me- allow yourself to believe this day will shift something for you, and tomorrow you'll be beginning a new, exciting time. (Ps for my lovely Londoners 7.10pm is when the eclipse will happen, sadly it's too cloudy to see I think!)
Well that #hauteroute alpe d'huez finished. Fought like a dog and finished a pleasing 18th in GC in a very competitive peloton. Now just the small matter of #etapedutour2017 tomorrow 😬. Thankfully the weather decided to play ball and we ended up having near perfect conditions for this years #Walkwithme raising funds for #ActionAgainstCancer and #SueRyder hospice. Not surprisingly, given everything that's happened to me since the last time I did the walk in 2014, it meant that much more to me to support such a wonderful event and worthy causes.
I knew in advance that I'd not done as much training as last time, so had to exchange 6:35 for 6:53, but was pleasantly surprised to come in under 7 at all and fairly pain free. Plus had so many interesting conversations with different #inspirational women that it made the #achinglegs worthwhile.
Huge thank you to all who walked with me, all the team at #Walkwithme2017 for the AMAZING job that they do and the #HenleyPractice for the much needed massage at the finish!
