My hair is starting to get wet quickly these days! Normally, I’d have to put my head under the faucet for like 5 minutes just to get it wet. Lately I’ve been noticing that it doesn’t take nearly as long. I’ve been consistently using good deep conditioners and sitting under a hooded hair dryer for at least 15 minutes every wash day which has made a significant improvement! #healthyhairjourney

Hair Tip Tuesday! Do you know why silicones are bad for your hair?
Silicones can cause a number of problems for your hair including:
🙍🏻♀️weighing the hair down
🙍🏼♀️attracting more build up
🙍🏽♀️preventing moisture from penetrating the hair shaft
🙍♀️creating a barrier on your hair
🙍🏻♀️drying hair out
Silicone is almost like rubber and/or plastic. It is used as a sealant against water and even air. It is NOT a natural ingredient, and it’s side effects are bad for our hair. ✨
Be aware when choosing your hair care products. Read the labels and skip over any that contain ingredients that end in “cone”.
