You can do anything for 60 seconds. I find that to be false. But you can do SOMETHING for 60 seconds. .
If you've ever thought that you weren't "fit" enough to do something. That you were already too far gone. That you would never get to where you want to be, I want to tell you a story. .
A little over a year ago, I did my first accountability group. And this move was in it. We had to run high knees for 60 seconds. I stared at all the pictures on my wall, tried to day dream, and do anything I could to make that time pass. I would end up having to step it out the last half or so, but I kept going. I kept showing up. And I completed that 21 day program. .
Since then, there have been many more groups. A lot of strength gained physically. So when this move came up in my new program I was excited. And that's because I was able to keep going. It was still hard, but a year later, I don't have to stop. While my body is stronger, so is my mind to know I CAN do it. .
But I would never be in this place, if I hadn't had a day one. If I hadn't pushed aside the excuses and just started. .
Sure I was busy. I had kids. It had been almost 2 years since I had exercised. I had no energy. I didn't feel good. This was just mom life. But one day I decided to just drop them all. .
Whatever you are waiting for, STOP. You deserve to feel happy, and healthy, and free of those excuses. But you have to have a day 1!
I hope a year from now, you can look back on something that used to be a struggle, and celebrate how far you have come. And I would love to walk along side you, to remind you how capable you are! ❤️

After my daughter was born, I struggled with the challenge of losing the extra weight. Like so many of us, I tried every fad diet out there only to gain the weight back leaving, myself feeling worse.
I decided to sign up for my first Triathlon, started eating better foods, and followed a training program. I was scared to death come race day, but I did it and nothing can compare to the incredible satisfaction of crossing that finish line!
I felt empowered to do more. I loved the feeling of challenging myself physically and mentally. I quickly became addicted to the rewards of hard work.
I have now channeled that passion into helping others discover their own power to become the best possible version of themselves!
What is today’s page in your life story going to say? Are you doing the most to contribute to it, or will you look back someday and wish you had done more?
I have a hard time saying positive things about myself. That’s just me. But I will say, I’m proud of how I’ve shown up and done the most to be my own health advocate. Infertility taught me to fight for my own health. Nobody else is going to do that for you! Now I have 3 miracles, and I’m still fighting every day to make my health story a good one. The causes of my infertility are still health issues I deal with daily! But being my own health advocate has made my symptoms SO much better. Fight for yourself! Invest in your health! Do the most!
Don’t know where to start? I will help you! 🙋🏻♀️ Send me a message 😘
STORY TIME 🙌
This time last year I was coming back from work utterly exhausted.
On top of working 12 hour days, I used to struggled with glandular fever. Because of this I always had to be careful and make sure that I didn't overwork myself which was difficult since I worked both on a ski resort and in outdoor education.
My days off were spent sleeping instead of adventuring and snowboarding. What?!?! This year, things are extremely different. I'm coming home after 12 hours days at work still feeling great with plenty of energy every day!
I’m so thankful to my Nourish That Body team and the health guidance and support they’ve given me that’s allowed for this significant change in my life.
♻️ Composting is such a great way to give back to the environment AND improve the nutrient quality of the food you eat.
Whether you have a small garden or not, you can donate this compost to a local garden/farm that will utilize it as fertilizer for the crops.
You can throw almost anything into the bucket (scroll right for OK items). Be sure to mix nitrogen rich (brown items) and high carbon items (green items) together in your compost bin and turn over about every day or two. The nitrogen provides protein and carbon provides energy for the plants.
Compost is ready to use within 4 weeks and increases the nutrient content of your produce dramatically via increased vitamins and nutrient absorption #FunctionalNutritionTips#EPA
I say this in class often.
Also, “notice how you’re noticing.”
Changing my self-talk was a huge part of pulling myself out of my chronic illness.
Doctors said all of my symptoms were caused by depression & anxiety, and while I knew that wasn’t true, I said okay sure, let’s treat that anxiety and depression. 🤷♀️
So I worked my butt off at treatment and realized how much I would beat myself up and come up with thoughts that don’t serve me. Especially if I was crying, I would really curse myself out to get me to stop. 🙊
I haven’t even realized in so long that I haven’t cursed at myself in so long. Except in a good fucking kick ass type of way! 👊
But that’s more cursing to myself. 😝
Anyway, the first step has to be noticing these thoughts, and it doesn’t have to be as extreme as my case. Practice noticing your thoughts on a regular basis and try not to judge yourself as you do, creating possibly more negative thoughts.
Notice what you’re experiencing in your body in a physical practice & throughout your day and see if you can do so in a way that doesn’t immediately label or tell a story, just observing.
After noticing and allowing for space to settle, there is a time to evaluate or discern which thoughts and patterns serve you and those around you best and which most likely do not. 😌
And btw, I got the stuff I could control with depression and anxiety under control but it was still there in lesser form until a doctor gave me the supplement Travacor, which played and plays a vital role in improving and maintaining my health.
But it was with my new positive ass thoughts that I was able to keep pushing through to many years later find the correct treatment for my actual physical chronic illness that isn’t just in my head. 😘
And yeah, it was yoga where I got to practice these skills for an hour straight consistently that I know made a huge difference as to why I made it through and many others don’t and go down the path of self-medicating with quicker, easier, more dangerous fixes. 🙏🧘♀️

Eggs are such an easy to make, nutrient packed food! 🥚
Don’t let marketing confuse when purchasing! Brown eggs are not nutritionally superior to white. This coloring is determined by the breed of the bird.
When shopping, look for organic pastured eggs as this ensures no hormones and provides SUPERIOR nutritional value. Organic is important because even pastured hens can be fed inflammatory foods and antibiotics. Organic Pastured eggs contain over DOUBLE the amount of omega 3 fatty acids, less omega 6 fatty acids, and significantly more vitamin content.
The extra $2 can go a long way!
To save $ and fats for your other meals, use 1-3 egg yolks and the remainder liquid egg whites! This way you obtain the nutritional benefits, while keeping your meal’s fat content lower and protein high. #FunctionalFoodsTips

So I don’t normally like posting these kind of photos, I don’t really even like looking at them. Don’t get me wrong I don’t hate myself, I am happy but I know I could be happier and more comfortable in my own skin. Recently I stopped caring for myself, I didn’t take time to relax, I stopped eating healthy things and I stopped going to the gym however there was also a parking issue that contributed to that. This photo was taking on my recent holiday, I really needed time away from everything to just focus, and seeing this picture I think gave me the motivation to change. I have no idea how long my journey will take me to see any results but it doesn’t matter how long, all of our journeys are different, but I am going to eat healthier and today I joined a new gym, which is a health club and spa, it was more facilities to use and a lot more accessible which I’m hoping will hope. I also love following you guys, you give me the motivation I lacked for so long and you remind me that if someone else can do something I can do it too, you just have to try and have a little bit of faith. .
⚠️Do you have painful periods? then keep reading ⚠️
So what is #endometriosis ? And what causes it?
First things first, researchers at this present time does not know the causes of endometriosis but it is impacting #1in10 , woman/girls.
All woman and girls have endometriosis in there utrese as it is apart of the wall lining. However, in some cases, the endometriosis tissue overgrows and can impact the uterus and ovaries which can then lead it too travels through the blood and attaches itself to different parts of the body and or origins .
In most cases, period pain is a symptom for most woman cycles. However, it's the amount of pain your in that can be telling you something more. .
Researchers believe that period pain is not meant to be a thing. Really we should get slight twinges but not one that causes us discomfort. Other symptoms to take note of is how heavy or light your cycles are. Not sure how to tell? Well, take note of how many pads you are using and how long your periods go for.
My cycles were always very heavy I would go through 2 pads a day. And my cycles would go for 7-8 days sometimes 9 depending. The average cycle lasts for 6-7 days sometimes 8. .
Other side effects that let you know something may not be right is...
Pain going down legs
Lower back or middle back pain .
There is also some research that says this stress on the body can also cause hair loss. However, there is not enough research connecting the two together to confirm it.
At this time they believe it is only a trigger. .
Do you have #endometriosis what were your symptoms?

Bloating is a you-know-what and something I deal with on a daily basis thanks to my buddy Irritable Bowel Syndrome. It doesn't matter how much karate I do or how long I spend on the stair master; when my intestines are ballooning I feel like Sigourney Weaver in Alien 3. Lovely things like apathy and depression start to infiltrate my heart, and going about the day, let alone being productive, takes a heck of a lot of willpower. Willpower I sometimes have and honestly sometimes don't. Now I don't share this post as a request for solutions; I've learned to manage this part of my life story with all kinds of choices. But I share these pictures as a moment of Monday honesty, because both of these pictures are me. I have good days. I have bad days. And every day I'm doing my best to listen to my body and to treat it well, so that I might learn what it has to teach me: lovely things like humility, patience, discipline, and once again patience. I'm learning to love my belly even when it doesn't love me back. I hope these "true facts about the Lydia Kapp" encourage other humans who also find they occasionally turn into the helium balloon contraption in "UP!" It's okay to feel crappy. I mean, it sucks - but it's ok. I'm with you ♡
Mimy thank you for sharing!!! So happy for you friend!💕 “4️⃣ years ago I had been on a journey of health. I had been seeing a holistic nutritionalist 🌿 for about a year for hormonal issues but getting no where.🔚I had cupboards full of supplements that hadn't worked so we kept trying other things. Then along came this little pink drink. 🍥 My friend asked me to try it. I totally trusted her because I knew that she was super careful about what she fed her family and knew that she would not recommend it if it wasn't healthy. 🥗 The drink was delicious and within a few weeks I was noticing changes. 🔃Enough that I knew that I wanted to give this more time.⌚ So I joined to get my products for the best prices. 💲 Before long I got my hubby to try it and he suddenly didn't want his daily Mt.Dew anymore! 🍾 My kiddos also started seeing benefits and were healthier than ever. Allergies, ADHD, constipation were all going away. A year later my monthly cycles were regular and my hormones issues balanced out. ⚖️ According to blood work my thyroid got better, my cholesterol was down and so many other benefits. I'm so glad that I trusted my friend and I'm so glad that I stuck with it! 4️⃣ years later I have absolutely no regrets and am so thankful for the balance it's brought not only me but my family and friends too!! Everyone has bad days right?! Here’s a cute photo of my girl because today was a rollercoaster! So finished my first 2 day cleanse yesterday which I’ve wanted to do for a long time... but it was SOOOO hard... so today I was stoked to have my shakes, and to workout. Gym this morning for the first time in 2 years I was pumped, had my shake and I was pumped.... then my coworkers went for breakfast and all down hill from there... I couldn’t help the craving and ordered food to, so now I’m 2 breakfasts in, and then all day I just snacked on junk and ended up 700 calories over my daily limit, and felt gross and off all day from eating junk, and my cleanse I think made me exhausted. I don’t even hit my step goal today! :( and ended the day with a 1am sad bowl of ice cream to eat my regret.... So here’s cheers for tomorrow in hopes of getting back on track, and sticking to 1.5 day cleanses for a while! My body was not ready for that and I can’t push it. #fitnessjourney#weightlossjourney#weightlosstransformation#healthjourney#health#isagenix#story#me#healthstory#update#fitness#weightloss#setback#selflove
