This. Momma's, give yourself a little Grace. I know we strive for perfection and want to look like we have it all together but if we're honest, none of us do. Let's show people the truth, get a little vulnerable and stop comparing ourselves to other people's highlight reel because for all we know they are figuring this motherhood thing out one day at a time too. 😘😘 Question for all you awesome momma's, would you be interested in Mommy podcast? Well if so, you're in luck!!! Big things coming! Drop some topics you would love to hear discussed by two pretty awesome moms... If I do say so myself. 😉🤣 #mommyof2#mommylife#learningcurve#mommying#motherhood#youreawesome#behonest#babies#podcast#podcasting#trendingtopic#hanginthere
Just keep going. Especially as the holidays approach and your routines are challenged, make sure to put time aside for yourself. Strength comes from the moments where you think you can’t go on. Hang in there. You got this.
HE WILL RESTORE 🖤// While we are spending time with those we love this holiday season, we are also remembering those we’ve lost who aren’t here to join in the festivities. 🖤
This custom gift was made for a sweet mama who lost her babe just hours after she was brought into this world. I can’t even fathom how heart breaking that must feel, but the family is so graciously grieving while keeping faith in God and thanking Him for His faithfulness.
To those mourning the loss of a loved one, you are not alone. I know it’s not easy. I know you are suffering. I pray that you find some peace in Him. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
As I shared in my previous post, I was just recently diagnosed with hEDS; however, I've always felt a connection to zebras. When I first heard of EDS and began researching about it, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the mascot is a zebra. Today I learned that Dr. Woodward coined a term in the late 1940s, "When you hear hoofbeats, think of horses not zebras," when explaining to his medical students that they should rule out common illnesses before jumping to the conclusion that a patient has a rare condition. I understand the logic behind this train of thought, but it sadly means that many humans who suffer from rare illnesses can go decades before receiving a diagnosis and beginning proper treatment. In the medical world, a zebra is known as a rare condition, and the EDS community adopted the zebra as its mascot:
1. because EDS is still recognized as a rare condition,
2. because although people with EDS experience similar symptoms EDS can also look different from person to person-- just like no zebra has the same stripes, and
3. because "Sometimes when you hear hoof beats, it really is a zebra.”
The purpose of this post isn't to shed negativity on doctors-- I'm a huge proponent for believing the best about others. I assume that doctors are in their profession because they genuinely desire to help others; and, I can't imagine how difficult it may be to diagnose someone, especially if it's a rare illness. Simultaneously, I understand that some doctors have become burnt out, stopped caring, or maybe see each patient as a dollar sign rather than a human in pain; and, my heart hurts for those who have come across such doctors. So, to the doctors who still care, thank you for all you do; we truly need more of you in the world. And, to those who haven't found those doctors yet, I'm terribly, terribly sorry; I hope you find the treatment you need and deserve.
Another fun fact I learned today: A group of zebras is called a dazzle. Part of my vision behind Discovering EDS is to create a supportive community. So, let's come together and dazzle the world. #zebrastrong What’s your diagnosis story? I’ll be sharing mine soon & I’d love to hear from you.

While doing life.. While going about your hustle, your business , life may make you frown. Life might hit you below the belt. You might run out of breath or be discouraged. You may feel low on some days, you may feel tired, you may feel broken.... You will feel this way cos you are human ... You have blood flowing through your veins!
Guess what? You can actually pause briefly to catch your breath and take some rest. Once refreshed, pls get up and keep grinding.... You are NOT ALLOWED TO QUIT! Quitting should never be your first option! For after it all, Joy will come in the morning... Your smile is around the corner!
