Karytaina village, called the Toledo of Greece by the famous Greek writer Nikos Kazantzakis, is one of a series of picturesque towns in Greece’s Arcadia region. You could easily drive past it on your way to more known Greek destinations like Dimitsana, but you shouldn’t. Beautiful Karytaina sat on a steep, green hillside and on the very top of that hill are the remains of a Frankish castle, and several other medieval and Ottoman monuments.

"Scrabble game • One of the most interestings urban patterns in center of Athens, is it’s squared geometrical planned and strict urban development in Gyzi area. The identicall #πολυκατοικία (apartment building) dominates the housing scene of the area, where
the skeleton-construction of them is a flexible structure enabling adaptation of sunlight from the inner courtyards walled in by an entire block. The shading is provided by the very characteristic multicolored tents."
