Catching up on a last few pictures from our Texas trip! One way we travel.. sometimes we fly in / out of different cities for cheaper flights ✈️ so for this trip we rented a car and road tripped 3 hours to Houston! Even with renting a car it was still way cheaper compared to flying out of San Antonio. Only had one slight hiccup along the way.. I put in the GPS directions for the wrong car rental at a different airport in Houston 🤦♀️ but we still managed to drive an extra half hour to the correct place, take a shuttle to the airport, and make our flight in time! #GandL#Shenanigans#HiHouston#ByeHouston#RentalCar#Airport#Traveling#RoadTripping#SanAntonio#Houston#Texas#GandLTravelTexas
Three years ago today I met my special one ❤️ still can't believe it.. every day, through all the highs and the lows.. I couldn't imagine sharing this beautiful roller coaster life with anyone else! Just the perfect one for me. I love you forever and always! #GandL
Just need to wire her up with the crazy switch wiring I devised
Started as an idea of combiming the features I liked from vintage Fenders and evolved to be taking electronic cues from guitars where #LeoFender was involved in designing.
4 of Fender's iconic pickup designs.
Fender Telecaster body (routed for those pickups)
Fender Telecaster neck.
Fender Floating trem.
4 way selector as found in early Music Man and modifed Telecasters.
Treble cut switch: recreating the Jazzmaster / Jagaur rhythm circuit sound with the tine all the way up.
Chose cap values between the G&L PTB Treble control and Fender Jazzmaster rhythm tone cap (both used 0.022 µF) and Fender Jaguar rhythm tone cap (0.1 µF)
I added a 51kΩ resistor to simulate the 50k rhythm circuit tone pot used in vintage Jazzmasters / Jaguars.
Bass cut switch: Chose cap values between the G&L PTB bass control circuit / MusicMan Bright switch (both used 0.0022 µF) and Fender Jaguar 'strangle' (0.0033 µF)
As it was wired with the Jaguars, the strangle goes to the master tone pot
Then at a volume knob with a treble bleed circuit.
Oops design flaw. Spelt rhythm on the paper wrong.
Who wants to make me a sig? ;)

Well it fits.
And fitting too that fender is doing #ParallelUniverse
