Finally have the chance to try this after craving it for two years plus. So happy that my friend is willing to accompany me to chiong to the store before it opens😂 Indeed, there are around 6-7 people in the queue when we reached Anoy Street Food Centre at around 11am. Note: The store operates from 11.15am onwards. After waiting for around 30mins, we finally managed to get our noodles. Indeed, it is legit good just like how the others have recommended and shared about this.
A Noodle Story has been listed in Singapore Michelin Bib Gourmand 2016, 2017 and 2018. The store owner makes conscious effort in arranging each item on the bowl and even wiping the spilled sauce on the bowl to ensure that the presentation of the food is good. I have decided to order the medium size bowl ($11), which contains the springy noodles, wantons, onsen egg, crispy potato wrapped prawns and tender chashu.
Personally, I cant help but to say that I like everything in the bowl. The chashu slice is flavourful and tender, the wanton standard is comparable to those found in Hongkong and I love them a lot.
Definitely hope that I can have the chance to revisit the store again, but that also means that I have to utilize my annual leave to queue for it. But why not? It is definitely worthwhile having another bowl of it 😋 📍7 Maxwell Road, Amoy Street Food Centre #01 -39
