Stepping WAY out of my comfort zone for minute.
This past year has been a pretty trying year for me. Incredible highs, heartbreaking lows, and somewhere in there I kind of lost myself. The picture on the left was me at my lowest (or highest depending on how you look at it). •
I felt like I was wandering. But I finally found an incredible community of support. I decided to invest in myself. I made my health and well-being a priority. And with the tools, support, accountability, and confidence gained from this community, I’m starting to find myself again! •
The girl on the right has lost almost 15 pounds and still going! I’m so much happier and so much more at peace now. I’ve gained confidence, self-esteem, accountability, knowledge, and tools to continue on this journey and I couldn’t be happier I found this community. •
Progress Picture!! I am not quite confident to show y'all my midsection yet. However, this is my progress so far. And let me tell you it has been slow, but I know that slow and steady keeps it off compared to fast, drastic weightloss.
My journey has started again (in which I worked out consistently) since the beginning of this year. It took me awhile because my diet isn't all health. I eat what I want to be honest, but in portions. I gradually started choosing healthier options and now has become habit. But if I'm in the mood to snack, yall I'm gonna snack. I'll just have to burn it twice as hard later.
Anyways, seeing small results or progress in pictures gives me such joy rather than stepping on the scale to be honest. Don't get me wrong I still check, but not religiously where I'd obsess over it. Now I'm living for feeling great and seeing results!! #progresspicture#onedayatatime#fitnessjourney#fitnessinspiration#fitnessgoals#patience#healthylifestyle#lookgoodfeelgood#gymmotivation
Coffee with heavy whipping cream to save the day! My friend I was house sitting for had some mocha flavored Jordan’s Skinny syrups (whipped topping) that I tried it was really yummy!! #morning#coffee#wakeup
Just got home from 3 hours of grocery shopping and I worked up an appetite! Instead of heading to a drive thru, I opted for a Greek yogurt and an all-natural fruit strip. It was my first time trying one of these fruit strips and it was pretty good! There’s no added sugar and it reminds of a fruit roll up or fruit snacks. #snackattack

ON THE MENU:
This isn't the perfect food pic. I didn't spend a ton of time prepping it. But it's working for me and I enjoy what makes my life easier and where I feel better.
I never understood how food really WORKED. I was an emotional eater, so any time life got hard, I ate or drank. I grabbed the quick fix. What was easy, fast and didn't take a lot of time.
I KNEW better. I just didn't have the motivation or TIME or WILLINGNESS to get started.
I just slowly learned how to take better care of myself, changing things up and listening to others who have already been through it (working moms) so they could show me how to do it as well.
No pills, no starving, just switching things up. I didn't go on a diet, I CHANGED my lifestyle. And it's working ☺️
Bored of your cardio?? I’m doing 5x25 steady state cardio sessions a week. As much as I enjoy running, sometimes you just can’t be bothered for any of it.
Which calls for some creativity (I’ve done this bit for you) and dedication (this is all you honey child). I get bored really easily so I decided to change up every single minute of my cardio. That should work, right? YES, it fricking does 😅
Suddenly you aren’t thinking about the 563773626 minutes left instead you’re thinking of your next exercise. Here are a few to start you off. How many ‘exercises’ can you come up with on your next cardio session?! + the booty burn is real 🍑
I’m so thankful water is easily available and so refreshing! Especially during trips like our most recent beach vacation. It’s so important to stay hydrated. Do you know you should be drinking half your body weight in ounces of water each day? That means if you weight 150 pounds, then you should be drinking 75 ounces a day at least in water. .
Water has so many health benefits too! Did you know water...
💧 lowers blood pressure.
💧 moisturizes the skin.
💧 decreases cravings.
💧 reduces/prevents headaches.
💧 boosts energy levels.
💧 increases metabolism.
💧 improves sleep.
💧 boosts your immunity.
Those are just a few benefits of drinking water. Make sure you are drinking plenty on a daily basis for your well-being!!! .
Oh! You don’t think you can drink half your weight in water? Here are some tips that will help...
💦 Drink a bottle or glass of water upon rising first thing in the morning. I take a bottle to bed with me at night and drink it the moment I wake up. Great way to start the day and get your first water down.
💦 NEVER leave home without a water or two. You won’t be tempted to stop and buy something other than water.
💦 Purchase a water bottle you love bor use your favorite cup. I love my Yeti cup. I fill it with ice, fill with water, and grab a couple bottles of water to keep on hand. The water may be gone, but the ice never is from my Yeti. Makes it super simple to continue filling it and having cold water.
💦 Always drink water with every meal. It’s helps aid in digestion and nutrient absorption. Plus, it will help you get in all your daily intake you should have.
💦 If you get tired of water, I suggest adding lemon, lime, strawberries, mint, or your favorite fruit for a little flavor. It will kick it up a notch and make it tastier going down.
Are you drinking enough water for your body on a daily basis? If not, now you know why it’s so important and ways to make drinking water so easy! Drink up... water that is!

48 hours later, guys I made it, no gym, no training, no lifting. Not going to lie it wasn’t easy keeping away but eating my heart out yesterday at Crazy Bear was a TASTY distraction. Hitting the gym with leg day 🙈 and plenty of energy. Squats, Lunges, Hip Thrusts, Leg Extensions, Leg Curls, two sets of Calves, Rowing and that should do it. Time to sweat out all the calories I inhaled 😂😂
I had to wait about five minutes to sip on this BOMB of a cocktail trying to pose for an awkward picture. Ladies and gentlemen by this point I was exhausted of breathing in my stomach, pushing out my boozems and trying not to give an awkward smile. So this is the best one ☝️
I have been waiting all week for it to be Friday for three reasons. 1) Date night 2) FOOOOOOD 3) Mojitos in the sun ☀️ Taking a nice and well deserved break from the gym for .... 48 hours and enjoying life. Let’s party (not too hard though, drink responsibly, text your parents if you’re staying out late, don’t forget to hydrate, be nice human beings in general, order the extra large cheesy fries, don’t support Trump, take an extra shower in this heat wave because you most likely smell) have a good day yall 😍❤️😊⚠️
So this was a new and interesting exercise I tried today. The key is to try new things and venture out of your comfort zone. If you guys have any tips or leg / booty exercises that you love to do then let me know 🙏🏽💪🏽
