Feeling all the feels. Can’t believe it’s already been a year and at other times it feels like wow it’s only been a year! I worked really hard for this sub2. It didn’t come easy. Lots of sweat, pain and tears. I haven’t felt like pushing myself since; although there’s been a marathon after this. I’m just enjoying running for running and not racing. Love my Monday’s! It feels so good to be back on schedule. Last week I had to take two rest days and it threw me off. The holidays have me running crazy so I’m making sure to take care of myself
I don’t know about you guys, but my autoimmune body thrives on predictability. Over the years I have found what works best for my body and I make sure to stick to it as best as I can. Life can be so chaotic and unpredictable, but as long as I get my workout in, rest, and make my nutrition a priority I notice a huge difference in how I feel and function

I didn’t always believe in the power of oils, but then I hadn’t actually given them a try either. A few years ago I was struggling with symptoms from ovarian cysts. Horrible anxiety, nausea, cramps, etc. I was desperate for relief because my medications weren’t helping and I needed to get on with my life. A good friend had been telling me for months about essential oils and how they had benefited her health, but I was skeptical and kept saying no to trying any of them. Finally after an entire summer passed me by while I was to sick to have any fun, I gave in and tried a few she had suggested. I was certain that it couldn’t be as simple as using some little bottle of plant juice to bring me some relief, but I was wrong (yup I said it. Don’t tell anyone though 😉).
Fast forward about three years and I am now a skeptic turned believer. So much so that I have created my career around them. Having experienced the benefits of living a holistic lifestyle and incorporating oils into my own daily wellness, it is my heart, my passion, to share my journey with other women in the hopes of helping them find relief and their own best health.
These days I’m oiling all day long. I have a daily routine and then toss in some other oils as I need them for certain situations. My morning routine is these three first thing when I get up. Clary Sage rolled over my abdomen for hormonal support (hello forties🤦🏼♀️), En-R-Gee rolled on the bottom of my feet to help get me going, and Endoflex rolled on my neck over my thyroid for endocrine support. For me, these are my must haves.
Oils have 100% made a difference in my physical + emotional wellness. I still believe in and use medication, but the additional support I get from my oils has given me everything. It is totally ok if you’re not a believer....but have you actually tried them and used them consistently?

I finally took the leap of faith to create an account for Her Life Out Loud. Almost two years ago I woke up with a dream that felt a tad bit intimidating. It almost made it hard to breathe because I knew this was something God put on my heart NOT something I randomly came up with. The past two years my personal account was called Her Life Out Loud, but the past few months I have felt the urge to step out in faith and see what it can turn into. I didn’t want Her Life Out Loud to be mine to hold on to. I want it to be yours!!!
I have so many ideas for this space. My hope is this place helps to encourage you to live your life out loud. I believe we are all meant to share our journey + story in our own ways.
I believe this community can become a place where women encourage one another. A space where we lift each other up + celebrate the women around us who inspire us.

This picture looks really staged but actually it was me being really proud of myself for my macro #s after lunch and JB saying ”let me get your picture. That will be good to share!” We have been asked many times to share what a normal day of eating looks like and I am not the best example of great nutrition, but I have found what works for me:
First thing in the morning before gym: @wmnutrition pre workout. (I personally love the berry flavored one)
After workout: ACV with superfood greens, coffee with truvia, collagen, honey and whip cream (guilty pleasure😜)
Breakfast: protein shake
Lunch: @getfreshly meal or grilled chicken and veggies
Snack: Yogurt, protein shake or bar.
Dinner: varies greatly Tonight will be egg🍳 sandwich because #needgroceries Frequently- grilled chicken salad, protein and veggies, or soup and sandwich.
Snack: One of my favorite evening snacks is @lennyandlarrys lennyandlarrys cookie 🍪 I do splurge on 🍨, 🍕, 🍔, and 🍷 but it’s not part of my normal daily routine so when I do I enjoy it and move on!! I track my food on @myfitnesspal just to be aware of my calorie and protein and will adjust afternoon snacks if needed. #fooddiary#myfitnesspal#lunchbreak
I LOVE cauliflower... Rob on the other hand tells me it’s his most morning and basic choice of veg out there😂🤦🏻♀️ so I have to get a little creative and jazzy if I want to WOW him with this cruciferous side dish! .

I never used to have one and my life felt like it was all over the place, but now that I have one I absolutely love it.
Every morning I do the same thing and it keeps me sane, energized, and happy!
1. Read to fuel my mind as I drink my pre workout.
3. Work for a bit because immediately after the first 2 I feel I’m most productive.
4. Family time when my loves are home.
It’s funny this weekend my husband shared how much he loves this routine. I never realized how much of an impact this would have on us all - it’s literally our favorite thing about our family.
Living your healthiest life isn’t just about a physical transformation. It’s about creating a life you don’t need a break from. A life full of fun, happiness, and love. It’s waking up excited as hell to get your day started because you love it that much!

I've been getting a bunch of questions about bulletproof coffee, or Keto coffee. Is it necessary for weight loss? No! Absolutely not. BPC is not going to help you lose weight. It's just something to add to your eating. It helps keep you full longer.
Keto coffee/keto creamer is not necessary for this way of eating. Give your body real food and you’ll lose weight! You don't need anything to jump start ketosis. Do it naturally and you'll be fine. 😊

But, all peeing aside. Think of the thing you work the hardest at. For me it’s being a mom. I work 24 hours being a mom, even when I’m sleeping I’m usually dreaming about something mom-related. But do I put that much effort into seeing enough of my surroundings to find THIS MUCH humor on the daily? Nope. Def not!
Think about the last time you laughed hard. I mean HARD. Tears flowing. Abs cramping. Maybe there’s some pee, maybe there’s not. It felt good, right? SO GOOD! It’s like therapy. For real.
Now, put that big gaffaw on a timeline. How long ago was that? .
Where are your people? Find them and go tech free for a face-to-face, no phones kind of evening. Reminisce. Tell stories. Relive the funniest things in your life. .
Keep the laughter LOUD. Feel it in your soul. It truly is the best medicine!

At first I was just using my hands and then a form roller when I need to massage my muscles after strenuous workouts. But what about the hard to reach spots?.
I don’t know about you but I am the type of person that does not like to have ordinary things😂! I finally got me a #cat that massages me! .
But in a serious note, sometimes those blind spots might be the ones causing your muscle pain. In my case, I seem to have a knot somewhere between my shoulder and sternum and what a relief this #catmassager has been! What do you use to massage your muscles? Comment below ⬇️⬇️
