After preparing at least for a month, finally the ceremony just finished.
It’s called “Ngaben” also known as “Cremation” ceremony.
Balinese people had their own way to do this ceremony, although we’re Hindu’s people, but the ceremony is different with Hindu’s people in India cause it’s already alculturated with the tradition and art in Bali.
We believe by doing this ceremony, we already make a way to the “atman” (the eternal self) to go back to our creator “Ida Shang Hyang Widhi Wasa” the highest god in Hinduism believes.

Feeling comfortable enough to share it’s been one of the hardest years of my life. I keep telling people though “I had to go through this” It’s how I feel and I’m glad I’ve come to terms with it. Life isn’t perfect and sometimes expectations completely cover our entire thought process and we don’t appreciate life for how it actually is verses what we want it to look like or imagine it to look like. We must have hard times. They teach us the most important lessons. The ones that we will carry with us for the rest of our lives. I’m not looking at this year thinking “what the” I’m looking at it thinking, wow, what a relief to what I’ve learned and can carry with me. What a relief my mind doesn’t have to wander with un-real expectations but can enjoy what’s right here
