The Ferrari 288 GTO , GTO standing for Gran Turismo Omologato .The 288 is the first road going turbo Ferrari ever built and the second to wear the prestigious GTO badge , originally built for Group B circuit racing Ferrari built 202 of these cars to cover the homologation requirements of at least 200 cars built from which all remained street legal since the series was cancelled .

Which is the engine choice for the car
Coupled with a pair of turbochargers as a result you get 400 hp an impressive power figure back in 1984 , all that power is passed through a 6 speed racing gearbox and into a limited slip differential driving the rear wheels .The 288 GTO is probably one of the most important Ferraris out there and she'll always will be in my top 10 favourite cars .
