Notre Dame families celebrated Jesus' birthday Monday after school. The party included a visit from Santa, dancing, activities, and treats.
Each grade level also decorated a tree and the crowd got a chance to vote on their favorite tree. Third grade won with a great theme of Faith-filled Reasons Of Giving. (FROG) They collected hats, mittens, socks.

A couple nights ago we went on a mini “polar express” adventure inspired by @elleapparel . While the girls were having a bath our Elf left a little surprise for them, the polar express book! We read the book and then I put the girls to bed like a regular night. I went downstairs and loaded the car up with hot chocolate, snacks and cozy blankets. Next, I found a train whistle sound on my phone and played it outside the girls room and yelled “All Aboard”. The girls bounced out of their rooms and I handed them a golden ticket I had printed out. They ran downstairs where I had hats and boots waiting, and then went out to the car to give their ticket to the conductor (Dad!). Now we were off, blasting Christmas music and driving around to check out the lights. Luckily in our area we have a street nicknamed “Candy Cane Lane” where all the houses go alllll out, so that was one of our first stops. When we got home Santa had left a card and some bells from his sleigh for the girls (just like the book). They loved this little adventure, and it was so nice for us to get to do this as a family! •
the handsomest - our godson, Miller. he makes us infinitely proud.
I got to rock this boy to sleep a few nights ago as his mama and I sat and had one of those raw, bare-your-soul kinda talks. therapeutic, to say the least. I kissed the top of his little head about 15 times as I thanked God for hearts like hers and friendships like ours. where vulnerability is the norm and faith is common ground. that’s how you know you’ve found your people. 🖤
Still need some plans for the upcoming holiday season? Why not take those visiting friends and family to a painting class. Maybe even a last minute office party? All classes are step-by-step with a professional artist. No experience necessary.
Check out our Folsom and Sacramento and book your event now.
