And, more importantly,  spent the evening with my own kids. Worn out and blessed.

This was my second #legday before the day started for my family💙💙💙💙💗💗 I love❤ landmine squats plus I'm happy by how deep I squat now. I'm not a flexible person at all.  Over the past year I have been learning different variations of squats since I can no longer do back squats.  I used to believe that back squats were King👑. After my 2nd bikini 👙contest in April 2017.  When I returned to the gym after week off. Upon doing my 1st back squat rep, my neck popped all the way through it.  Thankfully it didn't heart however it scared the hell out of me. .
 I spent the summer going through many test. What we discovered is that I have 2 bulging disks in my neck plus #arthritis in my back.😫 My doctor Immediately told me to stop working out😭  He was afraid that I would you permit damage to myself.  After a couple weeks of being completely bummed and feeling like my world was upside down.  I contacted a physical  therapist, who saw me that week.  He took the time to show and explain to me what I could do in the gym💃. That by actually working out it would help the #arthritis.  I took things slow as I was still afraid however I was thrilled to be back in the gym again. . 
In the beginning of this journey I lost some of my hard earned muscle😭 My progress seems slow at times but I refuse to give up. My #gymtime is my #mommytime to push and relax at the same time. I'm happier when I get my training done. Heck I have 6 little lives 💙💙💙💙💗💗 that depend on me so I must take care of myself.  Being able to be in my #homegym is a blessing that I'm always grateful for. ❤

SWIPE ➡️➡️➡️for a look 👀 at what I ate on my low carb diet yesterday. Yes I said the dirty word 🙊DIET. 
I don’t want to be low carb for life. I miss candy. I miss alcohol. I miss fettuccine Alfredo! 🤤 But for NOW I’m on a DIET and LATER there will be room for moderation. For now, I’m losing weight and getting an understanding for how my body responds to the different things I put in it. Right now, on low carb, I’m starting to see my abs 👀 (whaaa???) and I’m enjoying that more than the food I gave up. Right now. 
I do it because I feel better in my own skin and because my clothes fit better. Not to impress anyone, not to look better than anyone, for me. Just me. And if y’all know me, if I set my mind to something I achieve it! So for me, that means I’m 3 weeks in to an 8 week commitment. I committed to letting #1stphorm take the wheel on my nutrition. For now. .

I have a HUGE sweet tooth 😂🙈 and while I do enjoy the real thing every so often, I find #proteinwaffles tend to help keep my sweet tooth at bay while filling me up with that needed protein rich meal! 32g of Level 1 protein ⠀
10-20g of 🍰 cake mix ⠀
1 tsp of baking power ⠀
20g 🍎 applesauce ⠀
1 🥚 egg white (I use ~40g with the pre-separated whites)⠀
Sparkling water⠀
⠀
Mix dry ingredients first, then at the wet, adding in the water last. ADD IT SLOWLY!! It will fizz to give the batter more fluffiness 😍 ⠀
Throw in waffle maker and enjoy!!⠀
I sprinkle a little mix on top cuz #fancy 😂 and don’t forget your daily vitamins 💕💪🏻 enjoy y’all ⠀

I can't lie it's a struggle😫 to get up sometimes soooo early. However I know that if I don't get up and pay my dues. A workout will not happen then I'm pissed😡 off with myself all day. Usually I can put up 405 for about 3 on decline and rep 315 like nothing, switch to a flat bench and I’m humbled real quick struggling to hit 3 with 315 🤷🏻‍♂️

Wednesday and I did chest and triceps today. I know by picture of me it’s not much but let me say this has been so incredible journey. It has no end but I have so much more growing to do. It was #legday and abs for me today. I really like ❤using the weight belt for squats. Have such skinny legs🐔 so I train them twice a week. I have been focusing on slow down my reps. I tend to go fast through everything which causes poor form as well as poor results. 😣

After having 3 C-Sections my abs took a beating. Heck after my 1st one I was sore for almost 2 years. I've been trying different exercise to hit my entire core. When I'm leaned out my obliques are usually pretty good however the 6 pack isn't😫 Hopefully a 6 pack will appear once I drop more weight. What kind of ab exercises do you like?

Tuesday and it was leg day!! I tried another supplement today called Alphasurge DRV and with that project 1. Both gave me pump to get through this workout. I found that being on these products I am having more focus and energy to push through my workouts which is awesome. Going to gym at 4:30am in morning was getting harder for me so decided to try project 1 from @1stphorm and man let me say, GAME CHANGER!! I perfer to start my workouts on Sundays since life can throw curve balls during the week. Such as a sick little one 🤒during the night or I work late on my home business.

 I train early before my family gets up. It's my "mommy time" to take care of me. I hear mom's say how guilty they feel for taking time for themselves. Here's my thought on mommy guilt😥 Yes my kids and sexy hubby come first. This is why I train early in the morning or sometimes during naps. If I don't take of myself then I'm failing my whole family. What would be selfish of me is if I neglected myself then got to the point that my kids had to take care of me instead. I would rob them of their childhoods and that's 100000% selfish.😠 My hubby doesn't ask me to stay in shape. I do it for me although his compliments are always welcomed. When do you like to begin your training Sundays or Mondays?

I perfer to start my workouts on Sundays since life can throw curve balls during the week. Such as a sick little one 🤒during the night or I work late on my home business. . I train early before my family gets up. It's my "mommy time" to take care of me. I hear mom's say how guilty they feel for taking time for themselves. Here's my thought on mommy guilt😥 Yes my kids and sexy hubby come first. This is why I train early in the morning or sometimes during naps. If I don't take of myself then I'm failing my whole family. What would be selfish of me is if I neglected myself then got to the point that my kids had to take care of me instead. I would rob them of their childhoods and that's 100000% selfish.😠 My hubby doesn't ask me to stay in shape. I do it for me although his compliments are always welcomed. I haven't ate donuts since BEFORE I did my 80 day challenge back in MARCH!!! Thanks to this new STELLAR 4 day program I'm doing it allows me to enjoy treats like donuts without the guilt. 🍩😋 Then get this.. I went shipping for jean's after I ate those scrumptious donuts.. 😯 whaaa!? Yup, I did that! A year ago you would never EVER catch me going to try clothes on right after I had a cheat day. I would starve myself for hours prior so I would be "skinny". Today I ate 2 donuts, went to Rue 21, picked up to adorable pairs of Jean's size 4/5 instead of the usual 12/14s, tried them on and WALKED OUT HAPPIER THAN A KID IN A CANDY STORE! 🍭🍬 My outlook on life had changed so much, I am truly happy. I can smile when I look in the mirror instead of wishing I could cut off my rolls. I can enjoy treats (to an extent) and be okay BECAUSE my workout plan allows treats!

Although those more isolated exercises have their place, never forget the importance of COMPOUND EXERCISES!!! My training sessions usually comprise of 80% compound exercises and 20% isolation. Here’s an example from my leg workout the other day! 
Compounds:
1. Squats - 2 warm up sets, 5 working setsx10 
2. Lunges - 20 reps 
3. Leg press - 12 rep
Isolation:
4. Hip abduction (burnout)- 3x50

These workouts on top of my regular training were TOUGH! I’ve never done so much cardio style movements day in & day out. 90% completion, missing a few days that my ass was really dragging. The hardest by far....3 mile run. @sean_mc_donough knows what I’m sayin’ ☠️

I can’t fathom the challenges these kids go through every day, but I’m sure as hell blessed to be a tiny bit part of this team helping them.
