☆Daily Bread☆ After making endless focacce throughout the summer, it's a pleasant change to go back to making loaves. I've had success with this porridge bread before, although I still think there's room for improvement. A mix of different flours, an increased quantity of porridge, maybe swap the milk in the porridge for apple juice? Seeds and nuts could go into the mix, though I'm a touch wary of doing this because of various allergens. Even though the porridge isn't really visible in the finished loaf, it contributes a lovely chewy texture and flavour. don't need the pickup reminder when dirty horchata is involved 😏🥛☕️ found the first coffee shop that reminds me of all my faves back in Providence, and I can't wait until I go back again! I'm all about the extra-dirty horchata--housemade cinnamon rice milk with two shots of espresso for the perfect cool-down/pick-me-up after a hot morning at the beach ☀️
You say green onions, I say scallions 🎶 Whatever you want to call them, we've all been in the position where you buy a bunch and your recipe only calls for 1-2 stalks. I love whipping up this easy sauce recipe when I see my scallions are starting to go limp!
➖ 1 cup green onions
➖ 1 cup cilantro
➖ 2 garlic cloves
➖ 2 tbsp lemon juice
➖ 1/2 cup olive oil
➖ 1/2 cup water
Place all ingredients in a blender and pulse until smooth. This sauce goes great with everything from tortilla chips, to bruschetta, or even as a marinade!

Our last night in Busan, we went out to Haeundae-gu and walked around looking for the best spot for a warm meal. Randomly walked into this not so busy stew place. BF and I shared the potato stew, which contained a lot of pork! Still, it was pretty yummy.
What kind of food lovers would we be if we didn’t serve you up one of our favorite Chilli recipes for fall? 🤭This hearty, vegetarian number is all you need this October - trust us on this,we’ve never done you wrong. 😬
1 Sweet potato(or Japanese sweet potato) roasted in the oven
½ Onion Chopped
1 Green Pepper
1 can san marzano tomatoes
3 stalks celery
1 can kidney beans
1 can chickpeas
1 Jalapeno chopped
½ cup corn
2 tsp cumin
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp cayenne
A dash of Lowery’s
. •Peel and cut the sweet potato in 1 inch chunks.
• Roast in the oven with olive oil and salt and pepper. •Sautee onion, green pepper and celery for a few minutes in olive oil. •Add garlic and jalapeno and cook for a few more minutes. •Add the can of tomatoes and the spices. Let cook for a few minutes while breaking up the tomatoes. •Add the sweet potatoes, corn and the cans of beans. Drain the beans first!
•Let simmer for a few minutes till veggies are soft and all flavors have come together. •Serve with cheddar cheese, avocado, sour cream, lime…. Or whatever you want.
