This is Donald, my son. This sentence makes me so proud. .
I am someone who always wanted to be a mum someday but was never quite sure that I would be any good at it. Maybe I wouldn’t be ‘mumsy’ enough, maybe I’d suck at baby talk or other parents might look at the way I do things and roll their eyes.
None of that matters, because when I look at this little boy it all fades and I know I’m mum enough for him. Not every day of motherhood is all sunshine and roses, but this day was. Plus, he’s totally bossing yoga with his downward dog poses 👶🏻💪🏻
My dad and I exactly 5 years ago today in Hershey for a rewards ceremony 💞
I would give anything in this world to have more time with him and experience this moment with him all over again, I was so proud of him and still to this day, he had won 5th place in the state of PA for the best newspaper delivery based on how many years of service ....he had been delivering newspapers for four years as a side gig and wanted to retire doing so he loved meeting new people and forming new relationships, I even helped him out once or twice a week and did his route for him because, he had a full-time job in addition to delivering papers ❤️
When you think news papers you probably think you drive up and wing the paper anywhere, nope not my dad he was super specific about his paper route, some houses you walked up and placed it under the door mat, others you put inside the door and so many other variations I thought he was so nuts at the time but, good service like this you only see so often and he enjoyed doing it 🙂
I get my hard work ethic from him and always stay busy like he did, I work two nanny jobs, deliver for side jobs, and work as a wellness educator for Young Living doing events, classes and other things and wouldn’t have it any other way I finally found something I truly enjoy just wish I found it when he was alive god I miss him each and every day❤️love you dad until we meet again 💞#dad#dadimissyou#loveyoudaddy#loveyoudad#myangel#myangelinheaven#newspapers#deliveryguy#bestworkethic#likefatherlikedaughter#youngliving#younglivingessentialoils#hardwork#hardworker#exactlyfiveyearsago
Dad ~ The first man you meet. The man who taught you to love yourself. The man who would do anything for you. The man who always cares about you. And you hope that some day you will see all the things he does into the eyes of the man of your life. You hope that one day you will meet someone like him. Someone that cares about you, that loves you, that admires you the way your dad does. But your dad will always be your dad no matter what. #dad#dadlove#care#love#breakdown#couple
