There is just SO much value in consistency….I’m sure that if you have made a choice to begin your journey and live a healthy lifestyle, you know exactly what I’m talking about, because you’re seeing and feeling the changes in your body and in your mind and from sticking to whatever simple program (maybe mine) for however long, even if it’s just the start.
I want you to know what a beautiful and amazing person you are. I know it’s easy to get caught up in appearances, and there is nothing wrong with taking pride in the way we look. But who we are and what we are worth has to do with so much more.
One of the most important things to be consistent with (outside of the time you’re spending to take care of your physical body) is to be consistent in the way you talk to yourself.
So in the spirit of consistency and to celebrate YOU inside and out, remember “You are Beautiful!” it’s not what you see in the mirror that necessarily makes you beautiful, it’s what’s deep within.
You’ll be able to stay consistent on all levels as long as you stay focused…. Because today is always a new beginning! Alright ya’ll, REAL TALK... what is the NUMBER 1 struggle you deal with that prevents you from achieving your health and/or fitness goals?
Is it body image? Sleep deprivation? Maintaining a balanced/healthy diet? Self-confidence? Patience and kindness towards other people? Motivation to workout?
I don’t know about you, but during prep, all of these things definitely come to mind for me personally. In order for me to get/keep me motivated, I make sure that my mental state is in the right place. I need good music that I ENJOY cause come on—no one can hear or judge what you’re listening to, so blast that guilty-pleasure boy band you love so much 😉 ALSO, I need to keep my fitness attire updated. Shopping therapy is a thing and if I feel I look good, I workout harder 💪🏻 Not only do I do part-time fitness coaching to give myself obligation to be healthy, but I also follow a CRAP TON of motivational people on Instagram and I keep my #fitfam close because support is EVERYTHING! Don’t surround yourself with people that tempt you to fall from your goals. Make sure you have someone who understands what you’re going through and who you can count on to bring you up! Tell yourself you’re going to be happy today. Tell yourself that you are going to put in full effort to be the BEST YOU! During HIIT cardio, visualize the stage and what you want to look like. #NoRegrets Treat yourself to come coffee and protein ice cream and binge out on Netflix and naps cause you can 😘

I didn’t expect to fall into this program I’m in, but I couldn’t be happier that I did! Sometimes opportunities come your way and sometimes you just have to say YES! .
A few years ago I would have absolutely said no to this. I would have been too afraid to “fail”. But now I’m choosing to say YES to getting healthier with a huge support system of people doing the same thing! I’m saying YES to gaining strength and confidence! And I’m saying YES to helping other people find the same things! .
After two weeks of these workouts, I’ve found that I absolutely LOVE them, I LOVE that I can workout 4 times a week for 40 minutes (and do extra if I WANT to), still have tons of extra time AND like I’ve worked my BUTT off! I LOVE that on my off days I have any type of workout or “class” I could even think of at my fingertips! ☝🏼I can fit these workouts into my schedule SO easily and still have time for everything else I need to do in the day! .
I LOVE that I have a HUGE group of people around me that are doing the same things, who are there to support and motivate me! I LOVE that I get to have fun, get healthy and get CONFIDENT! Who’s with me?! 🙌🏼💗 .
