“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11
Life has dealt you your share of heartache but you grew strong from the challenges. I am proud. I am humbled to be this blessed. #DrBurch#collegeofpharmacy#success
Successfully completed my Doctor of Pharmacy degree which culminated in my hooding ceremony last night where, surrounded by my loved ones and peers, I was hooded by my professors and addressed the Class of 2018 as their Class President one last time before we all go our separate ways to impact the world of pharmacy. Thank you to my parents and girlfriend @beyou_findyou for their never ending love and support, and to my fellow classmates for their dedication and help.

The past 4 years have been an incredible journey with you. I wish you could have seen the smile on my face today when they announced you for the first time as Dr. Jillian. #TBT photo from May 13, 2011: Thirty ninth-grade students from the Academy of Health Sciences learned to make toothpaste while taking a field trip to the College of Pharmacy. The students, dubbed Biomedical Scholars, were part of the Project Lead the Way Biomedical Program at their school in Pomona. They learned how to compound non-medicated toothpaste during a laboratory exercise conducted by faculty and students in WesternU’s Compounding Lab. The laboratory exercise educated students in preparing a pharmaceutically elegant paste comprised of six active ingredients. They weighed and mixed ingredients such as Calcium Phosphate, Sorbitol 70% solution, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Sodium Saccharin, peppermint oil and purified water. Half the group used a mortar and pestle and half used and an ointment mill to smooth out the toothpaste, which then was scooped into a toothpaste tube, crimped and labeled for grading. Students were afforded this opportunity of a pharmacology lab experience because they are interested in pursuing careers in #medicine , #pharmacy , #forensics and #nursing . #CollegeofPharmacy#WesternUArchives#WesternUWay#Inspiringfuturehealthprofessionals#CompoundingLab#Pomona#PomonaUSD#HealthSciences
Yesterday was the most amazing and perfect day! After 11 total years of college, a career change, and the past 4 years studying and dedicating my life to pursuing pharmacy, I can finally say that I am finally done! It's such a great feeling, still can't believe that I am now Dr. Jenny Lada! And the best part of this whole journey is that I met the love of my life and got to graduate with him! I'm so thankful for all my amazing friends and family who were always there for me. So ready to start training as a pharmacist at Providence Park Hospital in Novi, and I can't wait for the years ahead to come! 💛💚👩🎓😸💊😍
