It seriously is the simple things right...in this case its a simple concrete thing. For two years we've stepped around this old weighs-a-tonne laundry washtub which has sat in the garden with weeds building up around it. Finally we sorted a welded base using the metal that some farm machinery was packed in and we had some extra muscles to help heave this old girl into its new resting place as our outdoor vegetable sink. Without doubt the best addition to any vegetable garden as the outer leaves and scraps go straight in a compost bucket and the dirt stays outside so the kitchen is for cooking not mud making.
#ThrowbackThursday to when our founders had the incredible opportunity to attend the Inc. Magazine Inc. 5000 Gala!
We would also like to extend a special thank you to @thebunkerlabs for their support and all they do for Military Veteran entrepreneurs!
Stay tuned for some BIG news coming VERY soon!
Clean vegetables and fish. Enhance the flavor of broccoli, onions, bamboo etc. by pre-boiling them in Kangen Water®. Use less condiments and salt.
Kangen Water® draws out the flavor of ingredients so they get tender and juicy. Therefore, food doesn't need as much seasoning, and excess salt can be avoided. 💦Click the link in Profile to Change your water, Change your life.💦

Lets talk about the thieves fruit and veggie soak and spray! •
The soak is packed with three essential oil blends... thieves, digize, and purification that helps to deep clean your fruits and veggies. You’ll be shocked when you see what’s left in the water after a good soak with this. •
The spray has thieves and lime essential oils and is great for on the go fruit and veggie cleaning. Polish an apple, spray a berry, or splash a carrot and rinse. •
Your fruits and veggies will still have the same nutritional value without the harmful toxins they use when they’re growing. •
We have received a lot of positive feedback from avid baker’s using our Scrubbers for washing their bakeware!
Helpful tip: We find that by squirting soap directly on the dishes and then scrubbing, the bristles help the soap suds nicely and last longer. Remember, Silicone doesn’t absorb so it doesn’t react the same as a sponge.

Wow! I soaked (about 15 minutes) and washed my carrots in water with 5 drops of citrus fresh essential oil. Y’all, that is some nasty water!! I promise it was clear before I soaked those carrots! I have always washed and peeled my carrots before juicing but the citrus fresh made a HUGE difference in cleaning them!! I learn more about Young Living essential oils every day and I am just loving everything about them! I am amazed at the results I’ve had first hand using the oils in my starter kit! Love it!! Can’t wait to try more oils and other products! #essentialoils#amazingresults#citrusfreshessentialoil#cleanveggies#juicing#workingtowardmygoals#onedayatatime
We have had a few people ask us "what is the best way to quickly clean my scrubber when food or gunk gets stuck in the bristles after cleaning?" - here is our answer!
This is one of many reasons why our sets come with TWO scrubbers - the best way to quickly clean your scrubber is with another scrubber!
Happy Monday! Are you planning a weekend camping trip this fall? Don't forget to pack your Silicone Scrubber! Our scrubbers are a great eco-friendly choice when camping!

How do you wash your fruits 🍎 🍓🍇and veggies 🍅🥕🥔? Just plain water doesn’t do the trick for me. Fruit and veggies straight from the store (or farm) are covered in icky bacteria and other contaminants. 🤢Some fruits are even coated with a layer of wax to make them last longer in the stores. Simply fill your sink with water, add about 5-10 drops of any citrus blend but I prefer Lemon 🍋, and 1/2-1 cup of vinegar. Let them soak for 10-15 minutes and vòila. If you prefer, just spray your produce with a mix of water and EO! I keep a citrus oil and water in a spray bottle in my kitchen. So when I need to clean a watermelon, I just spray the melon and wipe clean. When I need to clean lettuce, I don’t soak it, I spray it and rinse. Simple! And I swear my fruits and veggies last longer, but don’t just take my word for it 😉. #doterra#essentailoils#cleanandgreen#kitchenhacks#howtouseoilsinthekitchen#simpleandsafe#kidfriendly#cleanveggies#cleanfruit

Washed the veggies today because we are restocking my amazingly clean fridge(coastal N.C. ya feel me🤷🏻♀️🙌... a hurricane bonus...& gosh I am getting old to be that stoked on a super clean fridge 🤣) nnnneeeewayzzzz. All out of my veg wash so threw 3/4cup of apple cider vinegar and 4 drops of citrus fresh in the Berkey water because our water currently is even more of a issue (like gen x and the whole host of other chemicals wasn’t already a issue after good ol’flo.....)so veg is good and clean and ready to grab and go! Did you know when you wash your veg w/ EOs and vinegar it also preserves the life of them🙌👏 so wash those veg peeps because ewwwwwness is all on them and they last longer🙌
Nothing changes habits so quick as a negative reaction. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
My son got ecoli from who knows where. It was extremely nerve wracking and I wanted to do everything in my power to ensure we wouldn’t live through blood draws and heart monitoring in this way again. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I now take the time to REALLY wash my fruits and veggies. It is not good enough to toss them under water and call it good. I like to actually get the crap off! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
My produce lasts longer, is cleaner, and gives me peace of mind. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
What’s left in the bowl is filthy dirty crap! It’s astounding. Thieves fruit and veggie wash is highly concentrated so you only need 2 TBS to do the job. This all natural cleaner is amazing! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It seriously is also a time saver. I get home from shopping, wash it all and put it away. Through out the week it is so easy to grab and go. The kids can pack lunches and I no longer worry if they washed it good enough! Win!

Oh man.. please for the love of God.. try spaghetti squash if you never have😄🙏🏼. This was not my first time trying it but it was the best turnout. I made this last week and it was dinner for me for 2 nights.
1 spaghetti squash. They are hard to slice in half. Don’t give up 💪🏻and don’t cut yourself 🔪. Smack it on the counter if you have to.
Spoon out the seeds and inner guts just like a pumpkin.
Drizzle with EVOO or avocado oil. Season with sea salt and pepper. *I’ve been using a pink sea salt grinder 😍
Turn over on a sheet pan, lightly cover with foil leaving one side open.
Bake at 450 for 40 minutes.
*I know this is a long time for an after work dinner but I made these and then saved them for 2 nights of leftovers. *If 40 minutes is doable for you.. by all means eat them both that night! 😁 so yummy.
Turn them over and using a fork scrape all the sides to loosen all the “spaghetti” strands. *this is where you sneak a bite
Use a good marinara and pour over top about 1/2 cup or more if you like it saucy 💃🏻
The rest is up to you.. top it with sausage, mushrooms, peperoncinis, (I chose peperoncinis) and a little Parmesan cheese.. or no cheese if you want to keep it strictly Paleo.
Then pop it under the broiler for 7-8 minutes just depending on how brown you like your cheese. .
A friend asked me the other day why I washed my veggies as she knows I usually only buy organic. Just because my fruit & veggies are organic and as free as possible from pesticides, herbicides & fungicides they can never really be 100% free. These synthetic chemicals are insidious. They run off into our water supply & the air can carry them from field to field. Let’s also not forget human touch and the contamination that can arise from that.
💦 💨 🖐🏼
If you can’t tell from my insta stories I’m obsessed with the “Thieves Fruit & Veggie Soak” from Young Living. This wash contains 3 different essential oil blends that cleans off bacteria and dirt from my produce. The wash also helps preserve fridge-life as the bacteria that can cause decay is removed. Directions are pretty simple. 1oz gets added to a gallon of water and you soak your produce for 2 mins or so. One issue I’ve had with homemade solutions is that they’re usually vinegar and lemon based and produce can pickup these flavours making them less palatable. I haven’t found this taste issue with the Thieves brand. It will def be up on my website when it goes live!
Have we talked about our friends over at @urbanartisanfarm? They grow tons of veggies, roots and mushrooms indoors at their hydroponic farm. Pesticide free, fresh and delicious. Oh and they carry our coffee at their farm stand too! Go check them out, they’re at Gasoline Alley on Albany street in Springfield. You also might want to check out that location for something special coming soon to Monsoon! #monsoonroastery#urbanartisanfarm#hydroponics#cleanveggies
Our farmer’s market finds. These goodies will be used throughout the week. We will be trying a few new recipes, and if I remember, I’ll try and share them here. All of this cost less than ✌🏼 drinks at Starbucks. ☕️ #Priorities
I know it isn’t prime berry season anymore, but I thought I’d share this because it’s so important to clean your produce all year round! #imafoodie .
If you don’t know already there’s a list called The Dirty Dozen, which is comprised of the top twelve fruits and vegetables that have the most pesticide residue.🤮🤢🙅🏼♀️
The Dirty Dozen:
12) Sweet Bell Pepper’s
So, the next time you wash your produce, soak it in water with a few drops of Lemon oil to help get all those unwanted chemicals off of your fruits and veggies! Trust me, you (and your body) will be glad you did! 🤗🍎
Having baked potatoes so I got out the fruit and veggie scrub cloth and used it to wash all the dirt and other stuff off! Look at the difference of one straight out of the bag and one done! It didn’t take but about 5 min to do four of them and if I would’ve kept going I would’ve started to take the skin off of the potato. #savetime#savemoney#nochemicals#lesswaste#cleanveggies#norwex#norwexclean
I love this stuff. I throw a capful in my spray bottle and fill with white vinegar and water. Gently spray off my fruit with water and then again with my veggie soak mix. Let sit, massage lightly. Rinse with water and enjoy!
Lately I’ve been obsessed with making my Grandma Margie’s Tomato Soup. Bless her soul, I miss her.
Thanks for the extra tomatoes @kagulenie and @brookeharth ❤️.
