I was so tempted not to get weighed this week. I've barely posted any meals this week, pretty much because there hasn't been that many SW friendly meals to post. Since last weigh-day I've had things like: a full day of drinking with friends last Saturday; all-you-can-eat Thai food when out Christmas shopping (although, apparently I can't eat as much as I once could at the same place 😂); a meal out with friends for our Secret Santa; a Christmas dinner with the kids at school; my work Christmas party last night and countless other off-plan bits and bobs in between. So, to be honest, I'm more than happy with a 2lb gain as I was expecting and I felt like I'd gained much more. I have a meal out planned tomorrow but the rest of the week is planned with lots of SW meals so 🤞 I can get this gain off for my last Weigh-in before Christmas itself.

Today a lot of little things added up and cheated me out of dinner. I could have just had one slice of cheese, or two slices of bacon, or just done a bowl instead of a two-entrée at Panda. But then I added everything up after my last "snack" and went, "welp, this is my dinner I guess."

•As a reminder, for fat loss you need to be in a sustainable caloric deficit. For muscle gain, you need to be in a caloric surplus. For macitence, you need to be at a a caloric maintenance level While that exact caloric number will be different for everyone, here are some examples to help you reach your goals.
•As you can see for the weight loss meals, they're not devoid of all complex carbs. While at dinner, I skipped the rice for cauliflower rice, at lunch, I still included the full sweet potato and just skipped the toppings that were in the muscle gain meal.Additionally, I made sure I had plenty of healthy fats in the weight loss meals but still had a smaller portion than in the muscle gain meals.

•Breakfast fat loss - 2 eggs 2 egg whites, 1/4 avocado, 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes 1/4 cup mushrooms 1/4 cup asparagus sautéed1 piece Ezekiel toast. Breakfast muscle gain - Added 2 eggs, 1/4 avocado, 1 tbsp pb.
•Lunch fat loss - 4oz chicken, 1 sweet potato, 1 cup broccoli. Lunch muscle gain - Added 2oz chicken, added 1 banana 1 tbsp pb.
•Dinner fat loss - 4oz wild salmon, 1 cup cauliflower rice, 1 cup mushrooms 1 cup kale sautéed in 1 tsp olive oil. Dinner muscle gain - Added 2oz salmon, subbed in 1 cup rice for 1 cup cauliflower.
•Snack fat loss 1 cup strawberries 25g chocolate Snack muscle gain -1 cup strawberries 1 medium banana 45g chocolate
What a pleasure to start Saturday morning with a healthy, tasty, waistline-friendly desert! Let me introduce Zebra cake that is made of strawberries, bananas and plain Greek yogurt. To add some Christmas spirit, ginger biscuits were used on the bottom. Decorated with chocolate sauce. Bon appetite!

Hey babes, I’m back from the dead! 🙈The last month has just been an absolute shit show health wise. It’s been one of those months when you don’t realise you’re slipping. Started by skipping the gym once a week and ordering the naughtiest menu item at lunch. Next thing you know it’s a Friday and you’ve had McDonald’s breakfast, kfc for lunch and a tub of Haagen Dazs for dinner 😂
Had a tub of my fave ice cream as my last unhealthy food for dinner last night and now the line is drawn until Christmas.
I’m at the gym whilst typing this (I wanna die) and I’ve bought lots of nice veggies and healthy food for this week.
