This man and his brother are the ones that made me a die hard fan of pro-wrestling. Every other kid had their own hero: Superman, Batman, Spider-Man, but MINE were the always the Hardy Boyz and will forever be. It’s cheesy but there’s no word in the English language to sum up how thankful I am for the memories I have of this man and I was fortunate enough to see him wrestle live twice when @wwe came to Greensboro, and was even more fortunate enough to see him win the André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at #wrestlemania34 and even got to meet him at Big Time Wrestling back in 2016 which you can see a photo of if you look through my page. I look like shit in the picture but it’s with Matt FN Hardy dammit so I don’t give a f*ck. Thank you @matthardybrand you will NEVAH be forgotten! @jeffhardybrand #thehardyboyz#matthardy#wokenmatthardy#brothernero#brokenmatthardy#matthardyv1#matthardybrand#matthardyversion1#mattitude#teamxtreme#wwe#thankyoumatthardy#thankyoumatt
thank you matt❤️. words cannot describe how much i am going to miss this man. he's been my third favorite wrestler since i was like 10 and i have no idea what I'm gonna do without seeing him on my screen, but im forever grateful for all he's done for the industry. definite future hall of famer, mark my words. There is nobody out there like Matt Hardy and I'm so proud of everything he's done. I remember being over the moon was he was the biggest name in wrestling during the broken Matt gimmick, because he deserves to be remembered as more than one half of the hardy boys. I love you so much Matt, thank you for being the best idols and one of the nicest wrestlers I've ever met. I'm so happy for you, reby, maxel, and wolfgang💞
Thank you, Matt Hardy. For the years of entertainment and putting your body on the line. I’m proud to call Matt Hardy my personal favorite wrestler of all time, and has been since 2006. I really hope this isn’t the end of the road for Matt Hardy in the ring, and wrestling in general. He’s a very creative personality in the business and has reinvented himself time and time again, and the WWE could use some actual creative people behind the scenes. Let alone in the ring tbh. First ballot Hall of Famer for sure. I wish he could’ve won the world heavyweight championship at least once but the accolades are just extra pieces to wrestlers careers. Thank you Matt.
After hearing about Matt Hardy’s retirement announcement from wrestling today it was quite sad knowing one of the very few constants from when I was a 10 year old fan has now hung up the boots. The memories, moments, longevity and timeless work Matt has achieved with and without his brother Jeff is nothing short of extraordinary. Growing up I was a huge Matt Hardy fan and always was moreso than Jeff. After seeing Matt achieve the highest of highs and experiencing the lowest of lows he’s had one hell of a career. Now he’s faded away and classified himself as OBSOLETE! Now the broken brilliance has been showcased these last two years it’s been WONDERFUL to see Matt retire at the top level. Me and him here back in November 2016 at an Inside the Ropes event in Manchester! Delete! Delete! Matt Hardy deserves the utmost respect leaving the ring, over the past couple years, he not only had a great gimmick and put on some great matches, but he changed how much fun people have watching wrestling now, and in my mind, that is his greatest accomplishment. I wasn’t around for most of his career, but anybody could be aware how he did it every night
He always gave the best of him. I'm so proud of him, proud of have him as my Idol and my childhood hero. He and Jeff made me fall in love with wrestling and I'm so thankful for that.
Thank you Matt for everything. .
