1.5 rows 22" all natural hair color... You would think that matching natural hair color would be easy, but there are so many different tones in virgin hair color. I am very pleased with how well it all blends! I mixed 2 different colors of hair and I rooted, lowlighted and colored down every piece. 🤸♀️ I have a few openings for new NBR clients left between now and the new year.. click the link in my bio to apply.
My nieces got activity books from grandma while Isaac got a new Pete the Cat book and stuffed animal, both of which have quickly become favorites. This was after he came downstairs with the cat to find the book. I was told he threw quite the fit that morning when he wasn’t allowed to take the book to daycare #bookworm#nephews#BrentwoodTennessee#PeteTheCat
My #nieces got a set of activity books from their grandma and they’ve been busy with them the last two days. I guess there’s no escaping being a #teacher ! They both have put me to work helping each with the various activities. #education#family#BrentwoodTennessee
The 3 Voices ~ A Model for Understanding Motivation
The principle of the 3 voices is not unique to me or an original thought. It is based on the integration of several various theories.
The Child Voice ...The Survivor Voice ...and The Wise Adult Voice.
In each of us there are 3 perspectives which influence our decisions and they shape our perspectives from our experiences.
The life of the child is to be innocent, naive, thrusting, authentic and emotional present - full of magical thinking.
When children are invaded or abandoned, they develop the Survivor Voice that becomes manipulative, hiding, coping/addictive, shame-filled, independent and isolating.
The Survivor voice is often viewed negatively and as a way of the person acting out, no matter their age.
The reality is that the Survivor Voice was created as way of protection for the Child Voice.
The Wise Voice is one of truth: authentic, interdependent and in community.
The goal of a journey of health, recovery and redemption is to create a place where the Child Voice is safe to express their needs and acknowledge the pain..... to heal from the invasion and abandonment.
The reality is that the more the child was abandoned or invaded, the stronger the survival strategies have become.
The good news is that those of us that are that living from the Wise Adult place can help those that need to strengthen the Child Voice to the place where the Survivor Voice can become obsolete.
