#Ordination of new #Bishop of #Darwin Diocese Charles Victor Emmanuel Gauci.
On the 26th of September 2018 Darwin witnessed an event only seen once before in its history, the ordination of a new Bishop.
The event held a special significance to Territory members of the #OrderofMalta as Bishop Gauci was born in #Malta and grew up surrounded by the rich symbolism and history of the order before migrating to Australia with his family.
Bishop Gauci gave his blessing for the members of the Order to process into the Cathedral with him on his ordination and has assured us of his ongoing support and blessings for the work of the Order in the Diocese and beyond.
Been busy and absent from social media... but part of it was due to epic adventures. Here’s one of them from earlier this month on a little detour 😜. I spent a few days adventuring around with @codymayer22 ,@collincreates , @surfnsnowboard , @fstopsilva , and @brianchanphotography chasing the amazing fall color that California has to offer. Being a photographer, I have been grateful enough to come face to face with some unreal scenery. Having doing this for 10 years now, I have to say that this was one of the most pristine moments I have ever experienced. I’m lucky to be alive living the life I am and experiencing such amazing moments like this surrounded with such positive energy •@sony •@sonyalpha A7RIII

Here’s an Autumn twist on an old classic.
The colorful aspens on the hill & snowcapped mountains were a nice touch behind #that395house . Yeah, the midday light was rough but it brought a cool reflection to the “roof” and also backlit the aspens on the hill. Also met @stevehornstra here while I was shooting, another talented photographer out in search of #FallColor
