⚓️Life’s storms prove the strength of our anchors⚓️
I’m incredibly grateful to everyone that’s kept me afloat in this crazy journey life has given me. This tattoo holds a heavy meaning. It reminds me that even in my darkest moments, I am capable of being strong and getting through it. After everything I have been through I am still HERE. I am ALIVE, and I will continue to be Strong, I will continue to Live, and I will refuse to sink. 💕⚓️
Thank you to @tatu_chuy for another beautiful piece.
🍺 Anchor California Lager
I have some tattoos I love and some tattoos I regret. My favorite tattoo is the leopard print on my shoulder. I had it done in 2013 when I was 21. I thought it through very carefully for about a year and the result was great. It is the first tat for my “Wild Side”. Took 7 hours to complete. Next is going to be zebra print on my right bicep for when I “earn my stripes”. My most regrettable tattoo is the anchor on my right leg. It was a matching tattoo that I got with my ex. It wasn’t my idea and will have it removed in the next 4 years. My most careless tattoo is the hummingbird on my ankle. It’s symbolic of the celebration of life. I was with a bunch of friends who were all getting tattoos and they convinced me to get one on a whim. I will also have that one removed. Need the real estate for something more meaningful. Everyone’s favorite tattoo is “Good Time” on my inner left bicep. I got it because I had torn my ACL and Meniscus in 2012, and that song saved my life. I had been dancing for 8 hours a day until the accident. When I stopped dancing, it felt like my personality was dying. I still haven’t fully recovered spiritually, but “Good Time” by @owlcityofficial and @Carlyraejepsen kept me from getting as depressed as I could have been. Plus, I’m a good time! It’s a reminder to myself to always find the fun in everything! (P.S) Carly Rae Jepsen saw the tattoo and LOVED it. Scroll down in my feed to see our photo together! Do you have any favorite tattoos? Any you regret? Have you ever had a tattoo removed?
