Africa has been on my heart ever since I was 5 years old, and it took me until I was 36 to actually get out there. I’ve said it a hundred times, but Uganda got into my soul... the community, the people, the sights, the smells, the red dirt, the “you are most welcome”, the colors, the food, the laughter, the babies to snuggle on.... I could go on and on, friends... I know you get it, Uganda has become part of me. It has taught me so much.
With the thousands of miles in between and the ability to return only every few months, I’ve found that bring little pieces of Uganda into my home and into my every day life makes my heart so happy.
These little cases are perfect! They’re made out of traditional Uganda fabric, right in Jinja by locals who have been taught to sew and quilt. They are specifically for oils, but I think one will be perfect as a make up case for when I travel.
How perfect are they?
Don’t the colors just make you happy?
