Today’s mantra: “I easily and quickly learn the lessons life presents me with. A setback, struggle or failure to me is still a win and a step forward. I feel at ease, happy and confident.” @sam.ovens
After two months of being relatively sedentary and (a bit stir crazy) I’m back to trail running. My Achilles has finally healed and I am easing back into my favorite form of cardio.
Deep breaths of fresh air, rugged terrain and beautiful views of the California landscape.
Today I’m grateful for the body’s miraculous way to heal itself over time and this beautiful state I call my home. 🌵
We have a world outside that have to have it inside our mind first!
Every invention and every discover is first thought... our beautiful head has bio_electrochemical process out of myriad process, this process stops only after we die.
We human, we control our thoughts, we interpret what we think and how we respond.
Sometimes life is not easy/happy whether losing someone you love or someone is putting you down..... rise up and be the one who is going to bring the smile back.
Our inside world it's beautiful if we think positive and if we wanted to be!

It's the weekend! Almost. But you probably already knew that. Any fun weekend plans?
I don't have much planned this weekend, which i suppose means I should go hiking again! 😊 When I lived in Oxford, England, one of the things I missed most was mountains. There's just not much elevation change in that part of the world, unless you count climbing cathedral towers as elevation change 😉 So it's always nice now to be back where I can go on hikes and enjoy views from up above!
Whether out here or in a dark theater or amongst dog-eared pages, I’ve always liked to be immersed in a new setting. Settings, by definition, are the backdrops on which our own stories unfold but I like to think of myself as a character in a much larger one, one someone started long before me and one that will end a very long time after I’m gone.
