Our mission is simple: to help. As young men in recovery, we completely understand the value of being in a safe, comfortable, sober environment. We want to provide that environment while keeping the focus on what we have found to be an overwhelmingly important part of our own sobriety: 𝖊𝖓𝖏𝖔𝖞𝖎𝖓𝖌 𝖑𝖎𝖋𝖊.

Okay guys, let’s talk lash lengths. I feel like most clients come in not caring about the health of their natural lashes, they just want them long and full no matter the cost. I get it, we all want our lashes to look bomb! However, it’s more important to keep your natural lashes healthy! If your natural lashes aren’t kept in a healthy state, eventually you might not even be able to wear lash extensions. Let me tell you why. Lash extensions usually come in 5mm up to 18mm. I personally don’t carry anything over 15mm. Anyways, you are only supposed to go 2 sizes above your natural lash length. Otherwise, the extension can be too heavy for the natural lash. Or you could go up a few sizes more with volumes lashes. If your natural lashes are at 10mm then we can safely place 12mm on your natural lash. On the other hand, if your natural lashes are at 7mm there is no way your natural lashes can SAFELY carry a 12mm.
———————————————————————-The health of your natural lashes is always my number one priority, I refuse to damage beautiful natural lashes. Please be careful out in the lash world, I know how awesome lashes can look the heavier you go; but lash extensions will still have the same impact when you use appropriate sizes. Love your natural lashes just as much as I do!😘

Cheekie is here! She’s a sweet snuggler who enjoys all the pets and all the love. In her previous life, Cheekie was an outside dog and no one really paid attention to her. She lived with 4 really big dogs and was okay until one of the dog's bit her right in the eye. Cheekie had to have the eye removed and that is when she became a Blue Dog! It doesn’t slow her down one bit! Link in bio for inquiries or interest.
Yesterday my BBQ dreams came true. Got lucky with a 2hr wait, ended up meeting @chefadamgabriel in line and gained a lunch buddy, and when I took that first bite of brisket I could swear I heard angels sing. @franklinbbq #meatsweats

Over the last 6 months I’ve really enjoyed the theme I’ve curated on my Instagram profile (a “theme” is a purposeful and cohesive layout). I’ve definitely seen more growth on this platform since I made the switch from posting whatever I felt like to following a plan with the layout. But I think a change is due.
Currently 2/3 of the pictures in my feed are of me, and 1/3 are of other things and quotes. From a business perspective, posting pictures of the face of a brand tends to get more engagement than posting other things. As my biz coach has said, people want to see you so they can feel a connection with you.
However, I know that I have a lot of privilege as a half-white (and mostly white passing except on paper), heterosexual, naturally thin person. And there are a lot of people following me who are in recovery from EDs or whose bodies are marginalized for various reasons/look vastly different from mine.
Given my privilege and small size, photos of me have the potential to be triggering. Which is not to say I am responsible for the feelings of everyone on the internet. I’m not, and no matter what I post some people will feel triggered. What IS my responsibility as a professional is to minimize that where I can (something I already try to do by mixing in both professional and amateur shots, not only posting full-body shots, and trying as much as possible not to come across as #fitspo ).
In thinking about what’s right for (1) my business, (2) the people I want to help and inspire, and (3) me, I’ll be adjusting my theme to a 55% to 45% mix of pictures of others things and pictures of me. Some will say that’s still too much, and that’s fine. But I feel like this shift moves things in the right direction while ensuring that my little corner of the internet still feels like me. After all, the magic is in my captions, and I don’t want my choice of photo to take away from my message.
Thoughts? Questions? Hit me up. I’d love to hear your take.
I'm definitely an extrovert, but I'm finding as I get older I need more quiet time too. The hard part about a work trip is being on all-day. Grateful to have this spot in downtown Austin. You can hear Waller Creek ramble downhill, with live music in the background, as you watch the sunset. #hereforwork#atx
