This girl. This age. I really do want to freeze time for a little bit. I’ve never known a more precious soul than hers. Just an hour spent with Josie leaves you in awe of her depth. She cares about people and their joy. She is sensitive and seeks explanation. She is so totally silly and could play play play all day! She is bound to play a sport, because this girl can RUN! She is so affectionate and uses her words and hugs to help her friends when they are feeling down. She knows just what to say to bring a new stuffed animal home, and has a growing collection of 75+. She gets excited about upcoming events/holidays and is not looking forward to the “pippy (paci) fairy” coming around her 3rd birthday. She’s completely weened from daytime use, but depends heavily on her pacifier to go to sleep at night. I’ll miss seeing her suck it for comfort, and the intense snuggle session that comes when it’s in. She says it helps her “keep us warm.” Josie is a one-of-a-kind gal who is growing up to be a child called by God for a great purpose. I know she is going to change lives. She already is. She’s my little best friend and while writing this, I can’t wait for her to wake up (she’s a late sleeper) and us start our day together. She’s been asking for a sibling a LOT lately. So much so that she thought it would be a good idea for a tractor to build a baby store, where we could go right over and buy one. She goes back and forth between hoping for a baby brother or a sister, and even on a couple occasions asked for twins! Aaron and I are seeking the Lord for right timing for growing our family. It will be a little while longer. Josie’s nudges are getting me a litttttleeee closer though! 💗 She will be such a good helper!
Happy Monday friends! Happy #midautumnfestival for everyone that celebrates as well! It’s the season for eating mooncake but I totally forgot to let my little one try some today. It’s also the last day to see these beautiful displays at #gardensbythebay#singapore (they light up at night!)
So my #mondaymotivation is to see a few more exhibits soon! We just saw the Marvel Superheroes exhibit and it was fun (I’ll post in stories!) #exploremore
Rainy Kentucky skies have me missing these white fluffy clouds along the Seine.
I’m back home and headed straight to my studio to put my travel memories on canvas. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
A new collection is in the works (woohoo!) which means lots of new art will begin to flood my little white walled studio... and I can’t wait to share it all with you!
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbour, catch the winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover. ⛵🛳️🌅🌟
Whitehall Court // London
Built in the 1880s, Whitehall Court is a beautiful sight from across the Thames. Though one building, it is comprised of two separate constructions, designed by different architects: one housing the National Liberal Club and the other the Royal Horseguards Hotel, conference center, residential area, and office spaces. The latter was at the center of a pyramid scheme by MP and property developer Jabez Balfour. George Bernard Shaw and H.G. Wells, among many other notable figures, were residents at one time, and it was also used as an MI6 headquarters until the end of World War II.
A gente fica tão focada em conhecer coisas novas que acaba perdendo o que já conhece. Esses últimos dias tem me feito ver muita beleza no detalhe do cotidiano. O medo que eu pensei poder ter de me perder no novo até ficou de lado. "A cada dia bastam seus cuidados", o segredo é viver no agora.
“Travel isn’t always pretty. It isn’t always comfortable. Sometimes it hurts, it even breaks your heart. But that’s okay. The journey changes you; it should change you. It leaves marks on your memory, on your consciousness, on your heart, and on your body. You take something with you. Hopefully, you leave something good behind.” – Anthony Bourdain
Have you ever had a day trip go wrong?
I wanted to go to Hakone to get a nice view of Mt. Fuji but it was nowhere to be seen in this ghost town with no food and very cold weather. At least the long bus journey had nice views 😅
Listen, I’m not sure how thrilled I was to pay for a hike, but Mohonk mountain house’s lemon squeeze is definitely worth seeing. Walking up to the house via the “poor people path” I felt like I was crashing a Disney princess’ wedding. I’ll be back.

It’s a no-brainer that this is my favorite part from our Siquijor trip. The first time we went, it was a little crowded so we had to go back and set off at first light the next day just to witness this incredible place all for ourselves. 🍃
