It’s official I have a home in #sanfrancisco I’m so pumped to be in this amazing food city. I partnered up with the @omakase_sf restaurant group to open @nikusteakhouse_sf in the SOMA district. I couldn’t be more excited to be Executive Chef/Partner of Niku our modern steak house with a Japanese influence. We are also opening The Butcher Shop that my brother @guythebutcher will be running and I’m so pumped to be working side by side with this master! 🇬🇧 One of the best burger I've tryed is in the middle of Akihabara. At Henry's Burger you find only one recipe, no variations except the number of patties in your sandwich: one, two or three. They use minched meat only from A5 Wagyu beef, so you don't need anything else to do a great hamburger. While you're waiting your lunch, watch the guys making it: they take a 110g ball of perfect marmbled pink minched meat, and squeeze it into a patty directly on the grill. Than few simply ingredients: a slice of cheddar melted on the patty, toasted buttered bread, green salad, tomatoes and a home made light spicy souce. 1180¥ set with one patty burger, fries or onion rings and beverage. 🍔🍔🍔🍟

Did the full tasting menu with wine pairing and 2 additional courses- Grana Padano gnocchi with black truffle, and Miyazaki A5 wagyu with potato espuma and charcoal aioli. The Pennsylvania polenta with shiitake, braised escargot, truffle, and hominy caused a ripple in the space time continuum. Roasted lamb with alliums and daylily kimchi is the reason why the Eagles won the super bowl. Wine pairings elevated richness and ferments. @nicholaselmi greeting every table is always a nice touch. @laurelepx team is doing exciting things in Philly. #weareanimals#a5wagyu
