Happy Friday Too Good Family! We’ve got 3 tips for navigating farmers markets/grocery stores with toddlers! Please share your grocery store/farmers market tips too! ⬇️
1. While cruising, talk with your toddler about the many different fruits & veggies you see (colors shapes etc.)and ask them if they know the name and why it’s good for them!
2. Assign your little one a job. (Placing one item on the checkout counter or placing items in your shopping bag/cart)
3. Have your toddler choose one new food to try, that they’ve never tried before! 💚
See you at the market this weekend! #HealthySnacks#frozentreats#groceryshopping#livewell#familygoals#614moms#toddlersofinstagram
We love featuring our strong women within the b/rose world for SO many reasons. One of the biggest - you get to learn so much more about the people that make up the b/rose community. .

We had a great time painting our own pottery at Art and Clay on Main in downtown Lancaster!
@150westmain includes Art and Clay on Main plus Square 7 coffee shop and is an inclusive art studio with so many opportunities for people of all abilities to get creative!
I love that there’s an option for food within the studio - the fewer times I need to get my kids in and out of the car, the better! 😉.
We had a tons of fun and can’t wait to see how our pieces turned out! 😍.
Thanks so much to @150westmain for hosting us today!

We found a little friend today! We went to the pool last two days. Quiet! Not saying you don’t want to quiet at times. But it also can be very lonely. Do you like talking to people? Well I do. As we are leaving there was a lady leaving the lazy river and she was retired. We started talking and she said I might’ve been in the lazy river yes there are a few other people over there but it’s so crazy how can you be around so many people and no one talks to you. I said when does it get to that point that we think can’t go up and talk to someone or that we have to know them to talk to them. And she said you’re so right.
I believe that there something in us that makes us pull back. FEAR ?? have to learn to push forward so we’re not so lonely so we do want to talk to others.
Are you working on this? I can tell you I sure am!! Practice just like everything else!
There is a measles outbreak infecting 21 states! There are currently no reported cases in Ohio.
The @cdcgov says measles can be prevented with MMR vaccine, which children usually get between 12 and 15 months of age. A second dose is usually given between the ages of 4 and 6. The MMR vaccine is said to be 97% effective at preventing measles.
Remember the importance of vaccinating your children. If your child is in need of vaccines we recommend seeing your Primary Care Physician or visiting the public health department.

✨✨TBT FOR THE MAMAS✨✨
This time last year I was overwhelmed, tired, covered in baby spit up, but SO IN LOVE. How do they grow up so fast?! .
Reflecting on the last year of being a mom I’ve learned so much. I’ve learned that I’m selfish, but I’ve also learned that I have a capacity to love more than ever. (I used to like babies, but now I love them! Give me all your babies to hold 😂😍) I’ve learned that life isn’t perfect and there is no point in trying to make everyone think you’re perfect.
I’ve learned to be kind to other parents because you never know what they’re going through and I’ve learned to function on less sleep than ever before.
I’ve learned that productivity is not my goal for life and that slowing down to enjoy life with a child brings so. much. joy. .
What have you learned from being a mom? 👇🏼#parkviewdesigns
Hooray for our next customer feature! “My son Adam came to his first class around 9 months old, and was just starting to sit up, but not moving much yet. Within one week, he started crawling across the play floor! I was so excited about his fast progression of motor skills, but had no idea how beneficial gymboree would be for him. Adam is now 3 and has been in play classes, music classes, and now school skills. Through each level, he has spent time learning to take turns, play with other children, and explore new themes. He has had the most engaging and interactive teachers as well. He has grown into such an explorer and kind friend thanks to our time at gymboree! My 7 month old starts his first gymboree class this fall when big brother heads off to preschool, ready to take on the world, thanks to his time at gymboree!” Adam has grown so much at Gymboree! We can’t believe this bright kiddo is off to preschool! Thanks Alyson and fam for letting us share in Adam’s growth. We are excited to have baby brother in class soon!
Why do we take these pics every year? Well, in my house, if it’s not in the scrapbook, it didn’t happen 😂. And if I’m honest, NOT posting this day on social media (the new public scrapbook) makes a mom seem like she doesn’t love her kids 🤨
But the 20 years of ‘first day’ pics for 3 kids has always been about commemorating the first day of beginnings - a new year, new friends, new challenges, etc., AND looking back at how they’ve grown, how styles have changed, and how they may have felt that day.
And then there’s how I felt behind the camera.
I was excited for and proud of them. And when they were little (and summer was longer) I was eager to get them back to school so momma could have a day to herself! But then I went to work at an office instead of working from home.
Then there were five ‘first days’ that I had to re-arrange my work schedule to be there in the morning, or take THE picture 45 minutes early because I had a meeting, or I missed the ritual all together. I look at those ‘first day’ pics and remember feeling stressed, rushed and anxious. 😫
Today I feel happy and thankful looking at this picture 🤗. Happy she is confidently entering 7th grade with a plan. Thankful because this is my 4th year in a row of a relaxed ‘first days!’ It’ll be a productive day that will end when she gets off the bus!
☀️ Looking for something to do this weekend?

Turns out this position belongs to me. My mood dictates this house. Period. End of story. This house relies on me to smile and manage the moods of everyone else.
Our school district has been learning E+R=O. It stands for an EVENT + your RESPONSE = the OUTCOME. That is true at home too. My response to incidents will be the outcome for the rest of the day or night.
If we are preaching these types of things in school we as parents need to relay the same language at home and in our every day lives.
So I take this new position and look forward to the school year as the HOME HAPPINESS MANAGER.
watching you grow is exactly what we’re doing and it has been such a bittersweet feeling
makes me sad knowing today and everyday after is the smallest you’ll ever be again
but also happy seeing you reach every milestones along the way 🌿
here’s to half a year old 😭
One of our site coordinators began working with Benjamin, a fourth grader who had 36 absences and 19 tardies.
In February of last year, Benjamin had 6 absences and 5 tardies.
Throughout the month of March, the site coordinator began to establish daily attendance check-ins and weekly incentives.
In the month of March, Benjamin and only 1 tardy and zero absences!
That’s a 100% improvement in attendance! 🎉
Amazing mamas-to-be, rockin’ those wall sits and planks in our #FIT4BABY class. We also had a visit from @mgal_low of @theactivept to coach our mamas on ways to alleviate some of those common pregnancy aches-and-pains. •
