It’s Friday!! Day 4 of Week 1 Round 2!! If you’ve been following me you know that the program is only 4 days a week, so week 1 is officially done!!! I’m pretty sure I won’t be able to walk after Leg Day, but knowing that I have 2 rest days ahead of me and I don’t have to worry about it on the weekend is a great feeling!! 🙌🙌 Yay for Friday! 😁
It’s a new week, a new month and we’ve got new goals!! 💪🏻
Today is Day 1 of Round 2 for us!! So excited to do this one again with my hubby, and we’ve got a group of amazing ladies who are starting out with us today too!! Can’t wait for all of them to crush their goals!

Two years ago I decided it was time to focus more on myself and do what makes me happy!
Taking care of myself had been on the back burner for quite a while, and I was not in any way confident, or happy with how I felt or looked!
Working with some amazing ladies in an online fitness group helped me find the time and the belief that I am worth it! I am worth the time each day to spend on just me, to recharge and feel good about myself!!
I am happy, I am confident, I am strong and healthy and I continue everyday to take time for me!! .
Believe in yourself, love yourself, and allow yourself time!! ❤️ Don’t ever give up, you are worth it 💯
All things are difficult until they are easy!!
Doing a whole set of push-ups without modifying, getting up early to tackle your goals, learning how to do something new.
They all seem like a challenge and difficult at first, but with practice and patience, they eventually get easier every day!!
What is one “challenge” that you hope to overcome this week??
We all know the things that we need to do in order to move forward with our goals.
But getting started is the hardest part!
It’s been a little while since I’ve gotten up early to workout, and this morning was almost like the first day all over again!
I did not want to get up, and I slept as long as I could! But then I said ok you gotta do this!
If you give your mind more than 5 seconds to think about something that you don’t want to do, you’ll always talk yourself out of it!
So 5,4,3,2,1 let’s do this!!
I realized that I haven’t shared our results from the program that we just finished!!
Ken is officially down 10.6 pounds and 13 inches!!! He’s definitely feeling stronger, is starting to see some definition, and his flexibility is improving!! 💪🏻💪🏻
Me well I’m actually up 3 pounds and down 3 inches, so just some definition happening!!🌟
Could we have done better? Ya probably, while we did well with the workouts, we definitely slacked a bit on the nutrition! Summer is a hard time to stay on track, but I think we did pretty good considering!! 😁
Super proud that Ken stuck with this program, and seen some great results not only measurable ones, but non scale victories too!!

If you’re not good to yourself, you are no good to anyone else!! There are days when these workouts are so much more about the mental and spiritual aspect than the physical.
Exercise is my therapy, it’s helps me think clearer, it helps me relief stress, it makes me happy and in good mental position to be able to better handle what life throws at me!

This week had been anything but organized and on schedule!
There is a reason I like to work out in the morning, it’s done and out of the way and there’s no excuses!! But honestly getting up before 4 am to get a workout in before he leaves for work is pushing even my limits!! So we make it work when we can!
Things won’t always go as scheduled or as planned, there will sometimes be obstacles to face. We need to find our way around those obstacles and make things work. Don’t let them stop you from getting to your goals! Keep moving forward!

Woohoo!!! 🎉🎉 We officially finished our 8 week program this morning!! 8 weeks of working out together, and getting stronger every day!! 💪🏻 Our program may be over, but our journey doesn’t end here! I think I’m finally rubbing off on him and he’s starting to like this exercise thing!! 😉

Discipline, dedication, motivation, whatever you want to call, we all have it!! It’s all about your mindset. If you continually tell yourself you don’t have time, you don’t feel like it, or you can’t do it, of course you’re not going to do it!
Instead tell yourself that you will do it, you will make the time, you will make it a PRIORITY!! Going into week 8, and although it was late, we still made the time and got it done!!
What you do every day matters more than what you do once in a while
Do you set goals for yourself and then find that you only work on them once in a while or when you have time??
If you want to reach your goals, you have to be consistent and work on them EVEN when you don’t feel like it!!
You won’t get there if you don’t try!
Well he didn’t miss today!!
4:30am wake up call to get it done!!
Sometimes you just have to MAKE the time! If you think you can’t do this, think again!!!
If you want to do this you gotta ask yourself how bad you want it??
If it’s bad enough, and important enough, you will figure it out!!
4:30 isn’t exactly our favourite time to get up, and it never will be!! But our goals are important and finding the time and making the time is what is going to get us where we want to be!!
My partner in crime left at 5:30 this morning and still hasn’t returned!! I really didn’t want to miss today, so I got it done by myself!! He on the hand is probably going to miss today. But sometimes that’s the way things go!
Week 7 and we switch things up to keep our body changing!! We’re in shred weeks now, which means we’re working even harder!! Still only 39 minutes today, still only 4 days a week, still 3 rest days, and still 1 cheat day!! Who’s ready to join us for the next round??
Yesterday didn’t go quite as planned. Nothing bad happened, but our morning was a little off and we weren’t feeling a workout last night 🤷♀️ Life happens and not everyday goes as planned. Things come up, sometimes you just can’t get it done! 🤪
There’s nothing wrong with that!!! It happens to us all‼️ So today we did yesterday’s workout, and you know what?? I think we got more out of it today than we would’ve if we had’ve pushed ourselves to try and make it work yesterday 🙌💯 We’ve just finished week 6!!! You’ll get a lot more compliments from working out than sleeping in! ✌️ When the alarm went off this morning, Ken asked me if I was feeling like working out. For a split second I thought about staying in bed and doing it tonight instead.
But only for a split second!!! My mindset shifted and I was like nope I don’t feel like it, but we’re getting up and doing it anyway!
The hardest part is getting up, but once you’re there the rest feels great!! I take every chance I get to sleep in, but morning workouts have changed the way I feel during the day, that I look forward to them now!! Cheers to my morning workout warriors!!
