Today I tried implementing Craig Reynold’s swarm behavior rule set in UE4 to make a cloud of AI bots that fly around and try to kill yo ass. It’s super glitchy, but it works! Just glowing spheres for now, not sure what I’m going to do with it 🤷♂️
Someone was a little confused about my process and thought I just scanned a picture and it magically turned into a 3D model. Haha well No I’ve never “Scanned an image” All my sculptures are made almost the same way you would traditionally sculpt with clay. With this Monkey sculpt I blocked out my body shape with zspheres. Or I use primitive shapes such as squares, cylinders and spheres to block the shape of the character.
I then cut the model up in pieces so I can add clay build up, carve, smooth and refine details of my model separately. I then merge all the pieces together to refine, tweak and pose the last of the details to finish off the character’s look. 😋 So as you can see every little detail is all done by hand using Zbrush tools to add clay, carve and smooth details in a similar way to a traditional Sculptor would work with a lump of clay using tools to crave and smooth the clay 🤗 Depending on the sculpture I’m working on sculpts can take anywhere from a couple of days or up to a week of sculpting. Sculpting for production pieces can take longer as I have to converse with a molder/fabricator to make sure the sculpt can be molded and casted easily. This sometimes requires the models pose to be tweaked or to be cut into pieces so I have to sculpt in “Keys” so the pieces join back together neatly after casting the copies. I also design sculpts so they can be molded as one whole piece which drastically cuts down the cost of casting copies making a huge saving for my clients.
I take great care in everything I sculpt even if that means taking more time on a sculpt than quoted at no extra expense to my clients. I love what I do and I want my clients to love their designs turn from 2D drawings into 3D physical Sculptures, Designer Toys, Jewelry, Trophies and Props. If it can be done in 2D it can be done in 3D 🙌🏽😉 #monkey#tribe#candy#designertoys#newschooltattoo#tattooart#tattoo#tattooart#neotraditional#ilovetattoos#tattooartist#designers#sculpture#3d#3dartist#toys#collectable#collaboration#collection#custom#figure#caricture#cartoon#cartoons#fantasy#comic#oneofakind#jewerlydesign#props#popart#surrealism
