Last month of the year...almost 15lbs lighter than the 1st month of 2018...proud of the nearly 15 pound shed for sure...but I'm trying to make it at least a 35 pound loss year!!! Increased all my Fitbit goals and going to try to stay disciplined for sure!!! Hello 265 and good bye at the same time!!! #ReadyForIt#20pounds#BigGoal#AllIn
The first picture is from when I started and the last from today.
The middle one was before Africa and the last one is after.
I didn’t workout or follow my meal plan for almost a month when I was in Africa. I also chose to take thanksgiving day off.
But I knew in both cases that I had a plan I could follow right after. A good plan. Not one of those that you gain all the weight back once you stop (I clearly didn’t). A program I have been able to do on 6 trips this year.
I’m proud of my progress and I also know I have some work to do to get to where I was. And keep taking my body to the strongest and healthiest it can be.
I’m so so thankful for a program that taught me not only willpower and self control but also that I can have balance and make those choices that are not “in the program”. And that’s ok. That’s more than ok.
Because it’s a lifestyle change that I’ve made. FOR LIFE.
Now, wherever I go, there are tons of foods I can choose from (whether it’s a restaurant or a potluck). And I know what healthy portions are. And I have so much support. So much.
In the past, not continuing for a month and coming back right before the holidays would cause me to give up...”until next year”. Well, that didn’t work very well last year #20pounds
But I don’t have to wait. I can start right up. And I did.
And so can you.
