Little known fact... I bought T25 with Christmas money. December 26, 2014.
In a Best Buy parking lot.
Off Craigslist. 🤦🤦🤦 Because I was too proud to admit that I needed help. Because I was too afraid of failing AGAIN with my weight loss shenanigans and I didn't want anyone to know. Because I didn't want anyone hounding me and thought I knew best about what I wanted/needed.
Well, let me tell ya... I didn't know best and I really needed to get off my high horse and belong to something bigger.
Lucky for me within a couple weeks of starting workouts, someone at work overheard me and told me about this virtual group she was a part of. And I gotta tell you, I still wasn't chomping at the bit to join this thing but I was having a really hard time staying motivated and on top of my shit, getting workouts in after long 12 hour OR days and not knowing shit about cooking better for myself and running out of options that were gonna keep me on this.
Plus I was TIRED AF. My body was freaking sore and I looked exactly the same in the mirror. So, I said eff it. I'll bite.
Long story short, I've been part of these groups for almost 4 years now. I started running them myself over 3 years ago. Because they're freaking LEGIT. And fun. And refreshing. And keep me on my shit.
It all happened the way it happened and I'm not just saying this, but I wish I woulda just heard the girl out and stopped thinking everyone was out to get me. Because,
#1 I coulda saved some money. I ended up spending $50 more than I would have if I would have just listened to what was popping at the time.
#2 I would have gotten set up with something WAY better for me overall that addressed the tired and sore.
#3 I would have known about the option to give myself an earlier out of a career that was LONG overdue for me to leave full time.
#4 At a minimum, I would have had a stronger, more solid, clear start. And the regular support and advice that I seriously deep down needed in my life.
#5 I wouldn't have *almost* given up yet AGAIN.
That's my story. You have the opportunity to have a different one. Or give a better one to someone you love... January is coming. Gift health, to you and yours. ❤️
From the bottom up
Pretty sure I sent a post more and likely a meme #2 texted him hey you guys should go follow him
#3 mine and my parents group chat
#4 the Johnson 5 gc
#5 Mion and Kay more and likely sending something funny😂😂

TBT, I’m cleaning out our storage closet and found these. I remember drawing them as a teen. I used nothing but a #2 pencil. This was Pre-YouTube. I wish I hadn’t stopped drawing back then.
Consejo #2 : No siempre has de tener una idea inédita.
Tan sencillo como eso. No es necesario que reinventes la sopa.
Muchos de los emprendimientos más exitosos sencillamente tomaron ideas que estaban en el aire, que la competencia estaba llevando a cabo, y darles un sentido único, hizo que saliera una idea novedosa.
#2 Fort Langley Escape
First of all, Fort Langley is gorgeous even if you are simply walking around! But, if you are looking for more, such as adventure and delicious food, keep reading!
First head to @littledonkeyfoodanddrink for lunch, since their burritos are incredible! Just look at that first picture 😍. Next, head on over the bridge and rent a canoe or two kayaks at Ridge Wilderness Adventures and head on an adventure of your own down the river! Last, but definitely not least, head back over and enjoy a delectable dessert @wendelsbc and reminisce over your river journey/arm workout!

Today’s #ymDifference post comes on request from @chloesavior ✨
It’s about using 3 types of “glue” - grammar particles that stitch together adjectives and nouns, or adverbs and verbs.
In speech, they all sound the same:
The only difference is in writing. So today, let’s look at each ‘de’ separately - with actionable tips💪
This one is used with nouns, and rarely causes confusion:
🔴 adj + 的 + noun
Use it to link [a description] to a noun:
[black and white]的🐱
[lives next door]的🐱
[lives next door]的[very cheeky]的🐱
❗️You can use more than one 的 in one sentence if you like. Remember that it’s just a tool - to help you organize information🔧
This one is used with verbs, and always comes AFTER a verb:
🔴 verb + 得 + adverb
Use it to describe someone’s skills or actions:
👍 你做得很好 Nǐ zuò de hěn hǎo - You do it really well (or ‘You’ve done it really well’)
📷 他拍得很好 Tā pāi de zhēnhǎo - He’s really good at taking pictures (Or ‘He took really good pictures)
❗️Notice that it might refer to both the past and the present, depending on the context
‼️Mind that native speakers don’t pay too much attention to this 得 in daily conversations, so you might notice them write 的 instead (‘你做的很好’)
This last one is used with verbs too, but it comes BEFORE a verb:
🔴 adverb + 地 + verb
In theory, you’re supposed to use it talking about the future - giving orders or recommendations. Eat slowly! Listen carefully!
❗️Remember this for your exams😉
But now, in real life, notice how in common phrases (where 地 is supposed to be), 地 somehow gets lost:
👋 慢走 màn zǒu - Get home safe; Travel safe (not “满地走 màn de zǒu”)
😴 好好儿休息 hǎohǎor xiūxi - Have a good rest (not “好好儿地休息 hǎohǎor de xiūxi”)
Not to make it seem completely useless, here’s one phrase that’d sound good with 地:
不断地 búduàn de - constantly; non-stop
How would you say:
“The clothes he’s wearing are black”?
“She sings really well”?
“China’s economy is continuously developing”?
