❤ PORT ABAIXO❤
It got a little colder again, thanks god 😁 the weather reminded me this shawl, so discrete and elegant, and also in my eternal list. Published here in 1936, but maybe is from France as other patterns of that decade (my thanks to the Biblioteca Nacional files).
#historiadamoda#vintagerepro#modehistorique#modahistorica#historyofthe1930#modade1930
Grandma and Grandad Fishwick's wedding day, digging out photos of loved ones that aren't with us any more so we can have them at the wedding is a bittersweet feeling, but its so lovely to see our histories intertwining #family#wedding#vintagewedding#1930s#1930sfashion
1930s wool crepe wrap coat perfect for more mild weather than we usually have here in the Midwest. A little lighter weight. Gorgeous deco seaming on sleeves and sleek design. No pockets. One button at shoulder and ties at waist. Dark navy blue. I feel it's best for a small. Shoulders feel a little narrow. In great condition with some scattered small moth bites and fur is a bit dry. Please DM for more pics & measurements! $200 plus shipping.
No amount of make up or careful halt-tilting is going to cover up my terrible skin day but sometimes you have to roll with the punches 💫the last time I'll get to wear my 30s suit this year, and I've only just finished fixing it! But luckily, I have another (Autumnul) restoration project at the ready... See my stories for a real fixer-upper!
