作為理工大學酒店及旅遊管理學院的教學酒店，唯港薈一直不遺餘力地向酒管學生提供技術及知識上的支援。多得學校與酒店為我們所做的安排，我們有幸得到酒店糕店行政總廚Chef Danny的協助。我們之前一直都只能嘗試簡單家居烘焙，是次於酒店嘗試大型製作的經驗確實令我們眼界大開，能得到專業廚師如此詳細及即時的教導及協助，對普通學生而言是非常難得的機會，更何況Chef Danny是在亞洲中享負盛名的一名專業糕餅廚師，這次經驗更是難能可貴。非常感謝學校與酒店一直以來都為學生提供充足的資源，並確保我們得到適當及足夠的資源去充分發揮我們的才能。
Being the teaching hotel of @polyushtm , @hoteliconhk has been giving SHTM students tremendous support in terms of technical hospitality knowledge and assistance. Thanks to the coordination between the school and the hotel, we were honoured to have Chef Danny Ho, Executive Pastry Chef of Hotel ICON to give us practical guidance. It had been an eye-opening experience for us to step up from simple home baking to professional mass production. It would have been difficult for students to get such timely help from F&B professionals, not to mention that Chef Danny is one of the most prestigious pastry chefs in Asia, which makes this learning experience a very valuable one. Truly grateful to SHTM and Hotel ICON for providing abundant resources to the students and making sure we have everything we need to unleash our full potential.
