My handstand journey has been a difficult one! 😅 I see all of these yogis that have a flawless press up into a perfectly balanced handstand, and I’m just not there yet.
Every day we show up to the same practice, the same mat, the same teacher. We grow to fall in love with the practice as it unfolds to us. Slowly over time the practice changes and we progress through the series by letting it work its magic. ✨🧘🏼♀️✨
Today’s Ayurvedic tip by @kinoyoga was to sit in padmasana to balance pitta. I struggle with this every summer. I am pitta dominant and when it would get 120 degrees in Vegas, I would struggle. I would catch myself being antsy and short with everyone I talked to, even a tad bit angry. I guess it’s #pittaseason during the summer but we were given Ayurveda to use it to better ourselves and help us live a more balanced life. Pitta is known for being fire and always on the go, Meditation is the place that helps me turn off the outside world. 🧘🏼♀️✨
Day 9: #padmasana
#eatlikeayogi Our sponsor @bhaktifans bhaktifans will be donating $1 per challenge participant, up to $5,000 to @oneprosper an organization that supports families lead by strong females in Rajasthan.
