Continuing to feel such gratitude for the meaningful friendships and community in my life. Was such a gift to celebrate my dear friend Hussein, share laughs, good Indian food and deep conversations tonight. (Not to mention the amazing pipe cleaner crown we made him!) #maketime #foodforthesoul

South Indian thali
South Indian thali
THE BIGGER. THE BETTER.
I had Udupi Palace on my list after I had discovered that they make giant dosas. This South Indian vegetarian restaurant is on Gerrard Street in Toronto and has plenty of seating. The giant paper dosa was tasty and absolutely stunning in size. It was the perfect cone crepe with delicious potato filling. The South Indian Thali (the next photo over) comes with two vegetables, dal, rasam, sambhar, white rice, chapati, yogurt, pickle, papad and dessert. The rice was a little hard but other than that this was quite the satisfying meal. I always love me a thali and dosa. #dosa #foodie #foodblogger #giantdosa #indian #papad #rasam #veggies #udupipalace
