From sea level training to this elevation change. This was a good reminder to change up training terrain. The hill at mile two kicked my butt! Giving up is NOT an option. This was my first run in a race structure since my last half marathon over three years ago. It was definitely needed to remind me of what running with a crowd feels like.
Lessons from this run-
1. Diversify training. I need to work on a more diversified plan. Hill sprints here I come! 😝
2. Clothing- make sure everything fits! Pants were falling down, tank was rising up... no fun on race day! Lol
3. Just keep having fun!
I am so grateful for the early rise today to meet my friends for this run. Perfect way to start my day!
