Many people are joining in on a challenge that I have set for myself: plank for 2 minutes per day until 2019. TWO minutes of your day! Come join me.
Tag me & use the hashtag (#2mintil2019 ) when you plank on the daily. Show others what you’re made of and inspire them to do the same! Encourage others to commit two minutes.
Best form for best results (makes it much harder but much more effective):
1. Weight shifted forward
2. Shoulder blades squeezed back together
3. Navel pulled up into spine
4. Firmly press forearms into the floor
5. Keep hips low and square
6. Gaze slightly forward with neck in line with spine (nice tall spine baby)
7. Smile & thank your body it’s capable of planking
If you try this challenge and 2 minutes is not doable, break it up. Do 20 or 30 seconds at a time. Keep pushing yourself to hang on just a little longer every single time and you’ll be planking for two minutes by 2019! If you strive for just 1% better each time, you’re making progress.
Goals. Have them. Do what it takes to achieve. And then, bask in all of the pride that you have earned!!! And show off that six pack 💪🏻 #feelssogood#beproud#selflove#letsdothis
