I was more than keen on a pizza place with a reference to “Sorrento” in its name since I’ve just recently been to the Amalfi coast and had probably the best pizza of my life there (multiple times). So my heart is crying a bit while writing this review because not only had this pizza literally nothing to do with the amazing napoleonic pizza I got to know there but as well it was by far one of the most dissapointing I’ve had so far in Berlin. To start with the interior: the place didn’t look nice and comfy at all but more like a cheap tourist place, which doesn’t mean anything at this point. But when we got our water in a tacky plastic bottle instead of a nice carafe (which is literally the easiest thing to do for a restaurant) I should have become suspicious. The pizza firstly looked really nice when it arrived but unfortunately that was just speciousness. The crust was way too dry and crusty for a napoleonic pizza and the topics too few for a regular one. Although the styles they serve sounded kind of exciting, the actual ingredients didn’t taste that qualitative and the musty tasting wine didn’t help much. Overall a very sad experience.

I've been on a bit of a pizza binge recently, and decided to check this place out again after having only been once on their opening weekend 🍕I was pleasantly surprised to see that they still had their opening prices so the pizza was pretty cheap (€7,5 for the pictured ricotta and spinach one). I think this has to be the best dough I've had in Berlin so far: super thin and crispy, and the crust was perfectly crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside and just the right amount of burnt 😍 all in all this is undeniably a great pizza for a great price, once again I would've loved it if they'd been a bit more generous with the toppings (they were with the pizzas the others had), but it was nonetheless delicious! Also the service was super lovely 9/10 (price: €5-10 for a pizza)
